I purchased a 3sge G1 beams. It has the ecu ,but does not have the AFM.

Will an afm from other toyotas work with engine.

If yes what model will suit or even be an upgrade(if afm are upgraded) :P

silly question, but what is a G1 Beams?

as clear as mud :P

 

got the gen1 bit but what is meant by beams?????

 

jim beams, headlight beams, suspension beams??????

Your idea of geting rid of the hotwire and using a map sensor requires a stand alone that will also run the dual vvti which means alot of money especially since I have the stock ecu. :P

Just came across this a comparison of the induction kit for the altezza HKS and APEXI

so whats your engine out of?

 

looks like a celica to me

Its rear wheel drive type so it from the altezza

And it had this header fitted on it.

don't know what other goodies it has inside?????????? :D

It tags on it one says JASMA and the other 5Zigen

This is a relief because altezza parts are rare at used parts importers and the dealers never sold altezza in this part of the world.

Found this mystery item atached to one of the fuel lines wonder how many Hp it adds

yeah hes right, that afm does fit those! just double check as oz spec ones are different on some models

has any one done a direct comparison ie. dyno before and after with one of those fuel saver thingy's?

everyone rights them off, me included, but the results would be interesting
