JiP Posted September 19, 2012 Report Share Posted September 19, 2012 Hi all, so I'm going on holidays as we speak. Currently in Malaysia waiting for my connecting flight to Bali. Just wondering if anyone has been there before and knows of anything fun to do? Thinking of going a bit nuts. Wanna go white water rafting. I would pass on the Tat unless you are some what of an expert. A few people have died from dodgy tats in Bali. Waterbom Park (not sure on spelling) is great, as is the Safari Park. This is a world class Safari Park so make sure you go if you haven't been to one before. Get yourself a guide and let them help you organise everything, our's was very helpful. We also went out to see the Volcano, the silver smithing and a traditional family home in the country, well worth the trip. It all depends what you are after.. if you just wanna drink and party there's plenty of that as well (not really my thing). He is meeting us in the morning. on the drive to the hotel I even saw a pretty decent looking KE30. Shockingly considering how they drive here non of the cars have damage on them? JiP Posted September 21, 2012 Author Report Share Posted September 21, 2012 Me at breakfast this morning at our resort. Turns out the hotel only opened in July this year! Also stopped by Surfers Paradise today. ;) Tho was quite disappointed... Tonight we hope to be hitting the town in search for cheap drinks :P: Saw some two for one signs today :D Sadly alcohol is expensive (I paid $60AU for a bottle of Jim Beam :S (No Wild Turkey available) to drink in our room as we're paying like $12AU for them to mix us a glass at the hotel) and the locals hassle you everywhere you go. You can't even lay on the beach without them trying to sell you something :S Got our tours booked tho. Tomorrow is white water rafting, then hitting Kuta's night life! Then Sunday having a 5hr!! massage and doing some shopping in Kuta. Then Monday doing some para-sailing, Jet ski-ing and fly-fishing (which is apparently us attached to a blow up board and dragged in the air behind a speed boat :P: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
