Hey guys,

I picked up this beast a few weeks ago, she's a 1973 Corona, 4 speed manual with the 12R motor. When I bought her she was similar to these pictures, the paintwork was pretty neglected and dull but has come up nearly perfect with some love, I have also smashed some Whitewalls on and have just bought a new grill today (not yet fitted). She has 108xxx miles on her and is all original apart from being lowered, perfect interior and a sweet little thing to cruise in.

Toying with the idea of keeping her original or doing some kind of weber conversion etc on her - feel free to give me your opinions!! I'm on my iPhone at the moment, but will put up some more pictures when I get to my laptop :)

Cheers!

Hey buddy, love the car. i just recently bought one almost exactly the same, same color and pretty much the same condition, (engine bay is a bit worse as is the dash and dash mat).

love what youve done with it! I'm wondering where you got the whitewalls? also what dimentions are the tyres? and how did you lower it? and by how much?

i love the ride height and am looking to get mine sitting just as low icon_smile.gif

thanks in advance

Thanks heaps guys! Went on the SMASA cruise tonight, was a great run!

Vendablefall:

The Whitewalls I got done by Adelaide Whitewalls, his name is Derryl and came to my house and did them. His work is very good.

She just has 2 inch lowering blocks in the rear (pictured), and King Spring "lows" in the front end.

The height is pretty good, I'll take a look at the tyre size when I'm out there next. Obviously 13 inch but can't remember the profile :)

Thanks Glen, I'm gonna go for 3 or 3.5 inch blocks soon, a bit lower would look awesome I think, how it is is great for cruising and still looks neat though.

yeah would look cool, as i have 16s though i don't need to lower it heaps, looks low but still has good ground clearance which is nice where i live haha

Good call, clearance is always nice. Adelaide roads are shocking! Haha. Things will be pretty much at a halt with this soon, got a baby due in 10 days! :)
