October 14, 201214 yr comment_631636 hi guys I bought a ke10 and the interior was re done on it and it hasn't got seat belts in the rear. Did they come out with them from the factory, or the bloke that re did the interior didnt put them back in. The car is registered but I'm not sure if it was done after rego was done. I want to know if i get pulled over by cops with guys in the back if they will book me. any one know anything about this? Dan Report
October 14, 201214 yr comment_631637 My 67 doesn't, My 69 has the bits for it but it's had aftermarket retractables fitted instead. I think the early 67's don't but after that they should have seatbelts. If there's holes in the floor etc for them, You'll need them Report
October 14, 201214 yr comment_631640 Mine has the holes for them, the '69 i got parts from 2 weeks ago had the holes for them and one i looked at a few months ago for parts also had them and that was a 68? Report
October 14, 201213 yr comment_631690 My 69 doesn't either, I've never seen a ke1x with rears. Ever. Report
October 14, 201213 yr comment_631748 My 67 has rear belts but the mounting definitely doesn't look factory. My understanding is that once mounting holes have been made you have to have the belts (not sure just what I've heard). Check if there are holes in the floor, it's very easy to remove the rear seat. October 15, 201213 yr comment_631762 This was covered on rollaclub in a previous thread. From memory they were an option, but at that time seatbelts were an infringement of civil liberties which few people took up, especially for the kids in the back. My KE15 (fully imported) doesn't have them. Edit: Here it is http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/45156-ke10-and-ke11-rear-seat-belts/page__hl__%20seatbelts Edited October 15, 201213 yr by parrot Report

October 29, 201213 yr comment_634040 My 68 has them...there are 4 eyelet bolts into which the seat belts hook...this is a U.S. model though, may be different Report
