Who has rear seat bealts and who doesn't ? What year and month is the car also.

 

5/70 no rear belts.

My 67 has rear belts...

my 69 wagon has none, I don't know the month until I check it tonight.

 

I would suggest that Ken's were either a dealer option or fitted later down the track.

My 69 has belts, Although from the holes... it deficiently was not a factory done job. Different sized holes and a real dodgy fitments haha.

Sounds like the holes on mine from memory. I won't put mine back in if they're not factory.

 

Not planning on having more than one passenger anyway.

Mine was built 1969 and has no rear seatbelts. I won't be putting them in.<br>

I'm not putting belts in mine. Its to hard to put them back in hahaha!

my 1970 ke11 doesnt have any.

I don't think rear belts were standard.

 

My ke15 and ke16 have rear belts. My ke16 ones had some sort of aftermarket ones fitted as the screw in plates weren't welded to the car. I fitted the ones in my ke15 myself with plates of the required size (as per recommended by an engineer).

wicked i have a ke11 1970 shell and now i know this makes things a little better.. plan to delete the back seat anyways..

Mine is a 69 and does not have them. There are mounting points however.

Our (edit) KE15 (4/69 I think) has original clip in front lap sash 'harness' belts with the TEQ emblem engraved on them, but no rear belts at all. Haven't looked for any mount points in the back.

 

The parts book shows lap only front belts 6611 - 6902, lap sash front belts 6902 -7004. There are rear lap only belts shown also 6902 - 7004. Colours were red or black.

 

Original belts had clips into eyebolts on the outer side, as well as to a bracket on the transmission tunnel in the front. The rear lap belts were bolted on at the centre mounting.

My KE10 didn't hvae belts in the back... and my KE15 parrot has (sob!) so what he says must be right... :)
