JimL Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 If your looking for a 1275, all i can say is be prepared to pay big bucks. Have you got a 1098 at the moment? Quote
nerfbat Posted January 17, 2013 Author Report Posted January 17, 2013 only an 850 mate i hear the 1100 is the cheaper compromise, yeah? anyone know of any? Paul from mokeaustralia suggested having a bit of cash handy(iea few K) and just jump on a project or wreck of a mini/morris/moke on ebay with a 1275 in it Quote
JimL Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 (edited) man it must be a slug :P Only early little wheel morris mokes came with the 848cc unit. A 1098 with 60 - 100+ pistons, worked 202 head and a big carb and cam should easily get more power than a standard 1275 and will be a bit cheaper. The mild 1100 i have in my mini scoots along pretty well. And yes always be on the lookout for a cheap wreck. My favorite moke belongs to a guy in SA. 1412cc stroker and it looks amazing.
