I do know someone that can help if you ever get stuck(I'll chase up a link for you) A good mate and his dad run a mini/moke spares and repair business in Vic. Has sooooo much cool stuff for them it isn't even funny!! For example it's the only place I've ever seen a KAD twin cam cylinder head!! I think Mick still owns the under 1600 sports sedan lap record at Phillip Island. They did the resto on my next door neighbors '63 slide window mini, I must say its a work of art!! nerfbat Posted February 13, 2013 Author Report Share Posted February 13, 2013 now, onto mine no happies just sads..... pics first before the story engine out on stands empty, dirty engine bay new engine ready to go in box of bits to go on the new engine the engine should be in and running fine by late Friday arvo, BUT he is having issues sourcing the brake bits now.. one set(i have nfi what they were, sorry), he can't get rotors for the other set are smaller diameter and they don't come with some screws or something? so, if all goes well, it may be finished by Friday 22nd... ah well, it'll be worth it thanks for your time Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

nerfbat Posted February 20, 2013 Author Report Share Posted February 20, 2013 now i have been flat out with work, with the selling of the business, training the new guys on the run, etc, and havent had much time to even stress about the moke. so in a way, i am grateful for the distraction this morning i had a little bit of spare time, so i snuck out there this morning for an update and some more progress pics Engine fitted replaced the outer CV joints, while at it need to replace some rubbers in the front end, fit the calipers(when they turn up). then tomorrow, tune, test drive, and fingers crossed, may be cruising to Warwick in her this weekend to watch the HR C/C sprints over the weekend..! thanks for your time Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
