Are there rally tracks in SA that can be used by the public?

yeah there are, u have to join a club, and u go out with them, u can use what ever car, i think its about 100 bucks for membership. i ll try and find some more info of a mate

Hmm in qld i think you can just get a cheap permit to drive in the state forests. hehe i don't suggest it though unless oyu have the money to spend as a couple of hours in the forrest cost me about 500 bucks in parts lol.

I've driven around the forest yes. Rallying around the forest, no. I wouldn't recommend it. Kangaroo's & pine tree's arent my idea of fun haha.

Do yourself a favour and either convert the f@$king thing to a manual or get a pre-equipped manual car... I would imagine rallying would be absolute shit with the fully sick 2spd auto. No burnouts :) hahaha.

Pfft, toyoglide, trimatic... same shit different smell. Get rid of it and get the 4spd or 5spd manual :), you'll never look back.
