i finally picked my self up a decent ae71 to have a little fun with

 

its a ae71 csx auto (gaaaaay)

 

pretty much bought it as a little project to fill up my spare time and drain my account ;)

this is how it looks at the moment. ill probably bee looking at a manual conversion in the near future

and some wheels to set it off a liitle.

Mmm the supers are only 400 so ill pass ;) do you have a manual 71 tailshaft or any manual parts?

So I have now found my shelf all the manual parts I need for a conversion :) I'm picking up a 71 manual wagon tomorrow to strip for all the parts for 450 ;)

Clean AE71 dude, look after it. Those jelly beans are way cooler than cheap chinese superlites btw- they're so overdone, not original or old school,13s > 15s imo, same width. Your choice though! :)

 

Keeping your eye out for a whole manual donor car I guess?

I've got a donor now ;) cost me 450 :)

Basically the plan is

- manual conversion

- wheels of some sort

-some fan boy stuff rain guards, fogs etc

-possible 4age conversion down the track

small update:

 

- we removed all the parts from the donor car ready for the csx.

 

- decided to install some cheap fogs to see if they would look any good thoughts?

 

 

 

also has anyone ever tried using te gemini front bumpers with ae71 end cap? would mind having a go.

It has indeed been done before, here is a Gemini front bar on an AE71 wagon, looks like it fits pretty nice! Thread & more images can be found here: http://www.ae86drivi...71-Wagon/page18

 

 

I was going to do it myself till I found a proper slant front chrome bumper.

Is there much left of the donor wagon by any chance?

It's very rusty pretty much just the rear doors and cluster/ dash is all that is good

Oh and the tailshaft pending if it will bolt up

We now have manual!!!!!!!!

 

its so much nicer than the boring auto ;)

 

also pick up the superlites on saturday morning and they look trick.
