This is my ke30 project/daily i bought a few months ago. I'm hoping that this build will span over the remainder of my apprenticeship to keep me out of trouble.

She wasn't in the best shape, engine was dying, diff was stuffed, so on and so forth. My plan is to fix her up and make her look good. Not to fussed about going fast..

I have already put a 4k head on, ke70 diff(due to the old diff seizing up after i welded it..), and 5" lowering blocks(I think it is sitting a bit too low).

 

 

What I want

 

Worked 5k,

5 speed Box

SR20DET

SR or RB box

rust cut out, dents knocked out, especially the big ass ding on the roof

fresh paint

super lightss?

r33 brakes? because they are big..?

re-upolstured seats, reupholstered door cards, hood lining etc.

fuel cell tank, braided lines

some tough rear end

It's sitting on the bump stops... -_- & i'm pretty sure that the springs are cut in the front. The previous owners did some dodgy stuff to the car..

Plans are to put a 5k in, 5 speed box and just fix her up abit. Nothing too special.

Please tell me the blocks are a joke?

 

Haha, they are ridiculous, i know. I'm going to cut them in half i think...

I've got a ke30 myself. I'm just about to get a pair of 2"5 lowering blocks. What the u-bolt size and pin? Could you point me in the dorectiom where I could find an affordable set thay will deliver promptly???

bought a grille, upper and lower rad support and just about to buy a half cut.

 

I'm looking for a painter/ panel beater to fix up my little dint in the roof and the rust etc? anyone recommend anyone or anywhere?

 

Also tossing up weather to buy 'nos' branded 1/4 panels or get mine panel beaten?

Use a Torana 3 Core Radiator with some angle bracket to mount the wings of the Rad,

 

Id reccomend Sean at Boost Smash Repairs in Deception Bay, he does charge accordingly, but does his own car, and his brothers car, does a nice job on all cars I have seen

the rolla has been sitting undercover for months on end and i thought i'd pick up my act and re-assemble her.

all the guards are stuffed, bonnet is stuffed, need to get my front and rear bumpers re-chromed, need to cut the rust out.

still along way to go, only really assembled her because I'm in my last stages of interviews/ tests for the defence force and will have to put her in storage (brothers house…) and he didn't want a half finished car in his garage. fair enough..
