Hay guys just got my ke20 project that I have started and I was looking underneath the car and by the looks of it there is not much room for a descent size tyre. Can anyone tell me how wide of a rear tyre can I go with out moving in the leafs. Or do I just bite the bullet and move them in now rather than later.

6 1/2" is about the max with the right offset. The springs aren't the problem. It's the scrubbing on the guards...

I got 195/55/15 +15 offset under the back of a 25 with a t series out of a corona (i think) which is around 65mm wider face to face.

 

Looks like ive still got some space inwards too. Guard lip on the other hand is touch and go

Ok that's good then. It's easy as to square off the edges of the inner guards. Once I do square them off any chance of getting a 7.5 inch under it.

i have rolled my guards very slightly to remove the 90 degree bend.

 

i run 13x7 +12 offset with a 205/60 tyre and have no problems at all, i run a 13x6 +12 up front with a 175

Ok sweet. I think I will roll my guards and square off the inner gurds and that's it. Cheers for all the reply boys. Appreciate if.

I have 13x8 +0 all round with 175/70 and the rear fits nicely but the front pokes a little bit ;)
