New on these forums, here's the first pic of my new project i just picked up, 1978 KE35 Coupe, engine conversion and full resto coming up, love to get some opinions and ideas on conversion.

Unless you're really committed to a full resto, I'd be inclined to leave it as is!

Cheers Red, going full interior re trim in black, re chrome bumpers and polish trims might get rid of the stripes too and go one colour, going for more an original look including original wheels, however still looking into the right engine

I think the stripes down the side are original. The bonnet stripe isn't.

Those black stripes look pretty good i reckon.
