May 26, 200620 yr comment_119682 You'd need a T50 gearbox to bolt up to a 4AGE anyway, unless you went out and got a bellhousing that will adapt a W5x series gearbox from a Supra. Go the 5k and get that going hard with a set of side-draft weber carbs. That way you don't have the hassle of wiring up an engine and adding a lift pump and surge tank etc etc to your current fuel system to get EFI to work on the car. Report
May 26, 200620 yr comment_119684 How much did you want to spend? If you ain't got much to spend, then go the cheap 5K fix. Otherwise, if you have the funds... do the 4AGE swap. Report

May 27, 200620 yr comment_119900 but whats right with it? its old, slow, poopy, pushrod goodness that produces bugger all power for the fuel it uses. paint them blue i say, BLUE!!! Report
May 28, 200620 yr comment_119918 You've stolen my line. K motors have their place, and contrary to your belief, not at the bottom of the ocean. Pity you never got to see Evo 1 with it's k motor. Report
May 28, 200620 yr Author comment_119947 man i got the cash its just that...you guys are going to hate me but its only a corolla i really don't think that its really worth spending over two G on my one k power sounds the go il save my G's on a SC400 / crown v8 Edited May 28, 200620 yr by OniBerserker Report
May 28, 200620 yr comment_119948 quit it, k motors are bulletproof, simple to work on and extremely cheap um... you get what you pay for... its pretty obvious k motors aren't going to match engines that cost like 10 times the price ...and they don't go THAT badly Edited May 28, 200620 yr by rjenman Report
May 28, 200620 yr Author comment_119953 oh and I'm not sayin A corolla isnt worth spending my money on just my ke70 *sigh* Anyway 5K it is il be back Edited May 28, 200620 yr by OniBerserker Report
