August 27, 200620 yr comment_137170 Ok, so the South Coast Nats were on this weekend in Moruya, on the south coast of NSW. Last year saw a few corollas, this year there was one that was still powered by toyota. The other two had Holden engines, one being a 308, the other being my mates V6 one. There were a heap of interesting cars, I will post pics as I sort them out. Here is a few to start with, enjoy Report
August 28, 200620 yr comment_137292 sweet! what sort of car was that audio setup in and what sort of vehicle is the last one??? Edited August 28, 200620 yr by smacko84 Report
August 28, 200620 yr comment_137303 some nice cars there the last one looks like a holden and just guessing but the one with the audio gear looks like a pajero (only cos of the brake lights) Report
August 28, 200620 yr Author comment_137361 The one with all the subs is umm, well it "was" a Daihatsu Handivan. It's now a crazy creation made by Adam from BDL here in Canberra as a demo car. It is pretty cool. The last one, I have no idea, mini truckers will know more, it's bloody cool though, it's VERY short. More pics Report
August 28, 200620 yr Author comment_137374 Well I've watched him drive it around all over the show... Report
August 28, 200620 yr comment_137380 What a waste of a corolla. Advertising wreckers. The beetle owner MUST have alot of time on their hands. LOTS Report
August 28, 200620 yr Author comment_137391 The guy who owns the corolla is a mate of mine, and he runs the wrecker, all the stuff in the Corolla has come from the wreckers....it runs a 308, Auto and a hilux diff Report
August 28, 200620 yr comment_137405 Bloody nice photos mate, the little Daihatsu is a pretty mad car, I don't know where I've seen it before.. but I've seen it somewhere. All the Corollas are bloody mad, especially the wreckers one.. I actually really like it [4MYEGO] what a laugh :lock: I love the setup on the VN (through the bonnet) looks pretty mad to me ;), and quite frankly the Beetle owner needs to get a life lol! Oh, and that minitruck is an Isuzu MU with a Rodeo front on it, laying sill. Mad car, there was one that I seen a picture of at a Summernats that ran a V8 (not so low but, they're actually 4WDs), which was bloody mad! Good pics, hope you enjoyed the show. Dan Report
August 31, 200620 yr comment_137988 that MU is very impressive, i didnt realise anyone had done an MU that lays sill. i dunno how they did it though, maybe a rodeo chasis but I'm not sure if they are the same size, i know toyota surfs can be put onto hilux chasis' and then bagged so they sit real low like that. pathfinders can also be put onto navara chasis' for the same effect. i know of a landcruiser which is being built at the moment which will lay chasis with either 22s or 24s, livinglow customs are building it, check out their website for the construction pics, if they build it to show quality i reckon it will win a lot of trophies..... anything can be done if you don't care about registering it, it when you want to register it that it becomes real expensive...... i wish i knew this show was on, i used to live on the south coast and i would have loved to have gone Report
August 31, 200620 yr Author comment_137994 This show has been on every year for at least the last 8 years Report
