The seating capacity of a ke70 is only 4 not 5. My ke70 never had the middle belt and has no holes for them and has seating capacity 4 on the compliance plate. ;)

I think it's a bit difficult trying to go by engine colours now, these things are all so old, anyone at any point in time could have painted the blocks

Sadly, some of us have been around for long enough that this has not always been the case... ;)

my (early) '70 3k was green and my '71 3k was red

all the starlet 4k's have been black

my '74 2t was red/orange and bubba's 3t was black

so does any one want me to make a big post with ALL the "colour coding"??? or is it not definite enuff???

this may seem a little out of place but what did the 5k come in.

I know the 7k was mostly forklifts , if i remember correctly the 7k was only really made for the toyota industrial division.

feel free to correct me if i am wrong,

 

but my question still stands what did the 5k come in? I think this question does relate to this topic because ever since I joined Rollaclub i have been paying attention to what engines are in peoples cars and nobody have ever said that there car came standard with a 5k they just got one and put it in.. but where would they have gotten it from, if it not from a rolla.

5K's come from Lite-Ace vans.

 

7K's come from vans too

7K-E is from late model townace.

 

5K is from 80s Hiace and Liteace
