wilson_610 Posted September 10, 2006 Author Report Posted September 10, 2006 This happend at an autocross so only me in the car. I'm ok bit sore today. but all is good. Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Glad to hear it, maybe a cage in the next one :P Quote
Redwarf Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 I'm hearing you. I feel your pain! :P Doesn't make roll cages look too expensive, does it? After crunching my beast yesterday and, consequently the introspective navel gazing that comes after, the $650 I spent on my new ultra-light helmet doesn't look that expensive either. Mrs Dwarf is quite pleased, too. Re-shell time for that baby, methinks. Hope you're not hurting too bad. R Quote
wilson_610 Posted September 10, 2006 Author Report Posted September 10, 2006 (edited) yes Red you would be correct. full cage would of been nice but the half cage was all we had at the time and it did the job for the time being. Te30 is being built as we speak. will update soon. this one has a 6 point CAMS spec cage in it. might stop a pillars caving in... :P Edited September 10, 2006 by wilson_610 Quote
Redwarf Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Ahhh, I didn't realise you even had a half cage, makes sense now when I look at the piccies. I used to have a half cage in Dwarf, and I remember at least once quickly working out the straight line between the top of the cage and the front of the bonnet. You're right, it did the job, and your all(ish) good. Cheers R Quote
HEKTIC Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 sorry to get off topic but what is a roll cage worth? for a ke70 or ke30? Quote
Redwarf Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 For a current spec cage, built professionally, $1200 to $3500. You get what you pay for. Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 I didn't notice the half cage either until after I posted...it does make the pictures make more sense haha Quote
NoPsi Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Lucky escape. Good thing for that half cage. Quote
