  1. From my understanding they where purchased from CBC Bearings. Can you suggest somewhere else with higher quality?
  2. hi guys, Just wanting to know if anyone else has had problems with rear wheel bearings on ke55's. Left hand side in particular. My first ke55 hardtop had noisy wheel bearings it has since gone to the scrap yard R.I.P 2nd ke55 hardtop had noisy left hand wheel bearings so I did the right thing and got them both replaced. Noise was gone but this was about 4-5 months ago. Today I have looked and I am again leaking diff oil it would appear from around the same spot, I am guessing through a seal there somewhere? Is there something in particular That could be constantly affecting my wheel bearings? Or anything to look out for when getting them replaced? Tyres are good and wheels are balanced and aligned, Diff is not overly noisy for a 30 year old car, Has had all new steering parts at the end of last year. Any light you can shed on my situation would be much appreciated.
  3. That 'douche' has poured much knowledge in to this forum and i don't think he is aiming to make fun of you. A little respect goes a long way. That machine gun video is gold!
  4. I see a car of the year nomination here 2012.
  5. I feel like i am reading a text message. Please try to use proper grammar and wording or I can almost guarantee you won't get much of a response from members.
  6. +1 for going to the super bee :offtopic:
  7. Blanket for cold days/picnics. pillow on seat for your bad back. AM Radio, none of that fancy FM stuff
  8. Hi guys don't know if this will help anyone but thought it was worth putting up anyway. Friend works at a tyre shop, managed to get a photo of the corolla page in his big book of fitments
  9. I had the overflow on my fuel pump blocked off by previous owner. 5k ke55 hardtop Never had any pressure in tank. Added a length of fuel line to the return sender pipe - I now have pressure inside the tank when i open to fill up and i can hear air or fuel moving around a lot more now. I am also hoping it is nothing to worry about i don't like the thought of any type of pressure building up in a fuel tank.
  10. haha classic
  11. Haha conflicting replies about the stripes. I do think they add something to the car just not sure what and if I like it :P Thanks for the info Ben good to know. As you can see from the photo of the boot there was a tacky black plastic strip along the boot (4 holes) - Has anyone made something ie a badge to fit over this as i can't be the first person to encounter this(plastic was brittle and turned to powder when touched haha). Or would it be better to cover up the holes with bog or something? Anyone with an original or any other cosmetic parts for sale should PM me :) FOOMAN - The car came 2" lower and sat very nice on blocks and horrible cut springs though so had to be changed over to get Roadworthy but I would love it to be lowered professionally
  12. Thank you Yeah Just was not sure as a fella said the center caps are getting rare cause they break easily. Yes i think I will keep it white unsure about re-doing stripes though what are peoples opinions?
  13. Thanks mate at the moment general tidy up as it is my daily. Have done a fair bit of work already to get road worthy about a year ago 5k motor Weber carb and extractors new exhaust system all rust has been cut out and welded new metal in so the body is very straight. has a 5 speed from factory. interior is in extremely good condition - seats, doors, roof lining and dash are all perfect. Would like to get it painted one day when money isn't an option :P Also attached is a photo of the mags it came with. Should i store these better as i believe they are factory mags?
