  1. no their not: I have another one just like from a different source it in my garage right now. Yes that's a genuine HKS
  2. I asked my buddy to make another set of the type I sell: http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/showthread.php/72751-Adjustable-cam-pulleys otherwise I have seen the T3 ones first hand, a bit bulky but they seem pretty decent.
  3. don't buy anything that has aluminium/durilium outers, hard anodised or anything like that as it's just not worth it.
  4. Ah sorry I got mixed up, I was thinking of the gasket that goes from a 20V manifold to the head. I didn't realise you where talking about each throttle being spaced, silly me. Good to hear the baffles are exactly what you where looking for. I will likely buy some for myself in the future as I am collecting Tarago diffs to convert.
  5. is there any need for those gaskets when the 20V has something similar originally? I can get them water cut for you if you like
  6. that's an easy one, compare the lift with a digital caliper. Check Bill sherwoods site but I am pretty sure the earlier cams had more lift. So use a digital caliper to measure the total minus the base.
  7. looks like a new air con line, does it go to your heat exchanger at the front?
  8. which version of 4afe do you have? post a picture of the cam cover
  9. have you considered that doing that work to the engine would cost the same as the $1500 you didn't want to spend?
  10. one of the two scissor gears is a plit design with an internal spring. This is meant to be pre-loaded to provide an anti-backlash. With it being set up right it will rattle like crazy. I can't expain how to do it here, either get a workshop manual or take it to a mechanic
  11. maybe someone took the cams out and didn't pre-load the scissor gears before putting them back in
  12. yes that's the one, you could temporarily jam something in there to stop it moving to see if it runs better.
  13. take one and post a pic of your dizzy kit I might know what the problem is
  14. You don't need to go through me, unlike a 3sge beams it's just a crappy off the shelf size. I suspect that the bearing shop has a high profit margin on the chinese types
  15. Not all bearings are the same, even if they obey the same standards of clearences they can have inferior metals, fit a Nachi or NSK. Go to a local bearing shop or I can even mail you one. Just curious who did you order off?
  16. the ae86 T50 crossmember will not bolt into a corolla. The ae71 model is fine, as for the washers you mean for a 20V engine?
  17. why not a JC50-100 filter? less than half the price
  18. if only one wheel spins it doesn't mean much, if it's in neatral even a little bit of brake drag will make it spin the tail-shaft instead of the other side.
  19. very interesting info there Max, I wonder how it would of gone with a proper intake and exhuast if there was the room.
  20. braise copper to aluminium? Your stacks where sent today
  21. A 2T/3T hybrid with big cams will make power close to a stock 20V engine, just significantly rougher. Now I say this seriously I would like to see that 1C diesel with a big turbo (relatively speaking) and front mount intercooler.
