I'm leaving the valves stock..for now anyway haha I droped off the block earlier today and spoke to them, they said its true in some points he even said most of the big v8 heads they do they don't go that much on them. 10:5.1 sounds good, but they said not to stress theyve got the block and the head and theyll measure up everything and give me a call on what they can do and whats the best option is for my application.. Thanks so much for ur advice and thanks for those links, they paid so much attention to detail to there engines its awsome how well single cam 3t goes with a bit of work!

Thanks so much for your advice, ive already sent my head in but they said they rather shave it off my block, so at the moment there just polishing and matchporting so when i drop my block off ill ask them about how hemi heads are more prone to ping and ill chang it to 10:5.1. Last thing i want is a pinging motor haha! What did wade offer that crow didnt, more lift? I'm not the best at reading all theese cam measurements haha

hey guys I'm currently in the process of building a 3tc which will be going in my beloved ke30 I took my cam in to crowcams a few days ago and was talking to the bloke there about my head.. He rekons not to go any higher than 10.1 compression he said being a cast iron head it will start pinging any higher than that.. I told the bloke thats doing my head what crowcams said and he told me that he totaly agrees. Now the question is what do you guys rekon? Is this true, is there anyway around it? Reason why I'm asking for advice is because theres a few people running 11.5 with there k motors on this forum with pump fuel, I'm just geting confused now. Details about the motor, std pistons rings and bearings twin mikini solex side drafts, port polished shaved and portmatched head, reground cam, recurved and reco dizzy msd digital box, msd coil and fully balanced bottom end, thats all i can think of from the top of my head Thanks in advance guys :)

hey guys i just started striping one of my 3t's and the bores don't look to great defiantly needs a re-bore I'm just after standard compression oversize pistons and i know both the 3t and 2t have 85mm bores standard so does this mean they both take the same pistons? theres alot of "2t" pistons available on ebay and not many "3t" thats the reason why I'm asking.. thanks in advance :)

thanks heeps guys turned out the ta22 brackets were a perfect fit, and they came with my 3tc after all :)

lol tell me about it took a while for my cross memeber to come from there yeah spot on, t-18 spacing is way to wide, plus there the wrong angle.. I'm not to keen on making my own now that ive gone through the trouble of geting the original cross member i might aswell find the brackets yeah thats what i was also thinking.. i might check them out and test fit everything.. people who fit ta22 brackets and mounts to k cross members always state that the engine is to far to the right that just might be in illusion with the master cylinder because the crossmember mounts on a k xmemeber are to far back for a 3t

hey guys I'm in the process of fitting a 3t into my ke30 ive got everything to fit it in, including a sexy orginal te31 crossmember thanks to mhmills for finding it for me :) but what i don't have is the te31 engine brackets..got plenty of them damn rubber mounts engine brackets that are currently on the 3t are of corse t-18 ones and silly me didnt think about that till i recieved my cross member in the post.. my crossmember took forever to come well felt like it anyway and before i contact the dude again i wanted to ask is there any other engine brackets you guys rekon/know that are the same as the te31's? (I'm thinking about some early celica ones) if any one can shed some light it will be great. but worst case senario I'm going to have to just get them from overseas thanks in advance guys.

hrmm.. I'm sure theres got to be simpler means of tracking equipment out there that can operate for free

lol rottweiler alarm ive got one of them, leave the keys in it no worries, theifing ʇ~~ɔs its been happening more than usual lately.. in my opinion i reckon nothing can beat a good simple gps tracking device planted in the car two birds with one stone you find your car in the action and can personally "greet" the thieves if you know what i mean ;)

theres a few threads on it already, all you gotta do is find lca's from eather a ke3X or ke5X model they bolt straight on to a ke70 and are slightly longer and will give you a perfect neg camber ...if thats what you want to achieve..
