  1. okay I'm getting really desperate for a diff now. please any one wiht a s series or a t series diff please inbox me or send me a message on 0430 747 838. any thing will be a good start I'm so desprate ill even buy from any where in Australia. SLO-I'm not to sure haha explain to me about this? also going to be starting to do the body work in the school holidays hopefully get most of that done. my dad has given me a dead line to get it running and moving i have two weeks so i also need in stock inlet manifold if any one can help out cheers guys please help a fellow rolla buddy out
  2. things have been slow lately. been working to much but that brings in money for parts so.. should be betting my carbs rebuilt in to one good one hopefully this week maybe next week. should have new extractors and a single side draft inlet manifold in no later then 2 weeks. still looking for a new diff if any one can help out I'm looking for the stock diff or a ke70 wagon diff or a t series diff. only updates really are been making a back board for behind the seats to mount speakers on.
  3. It deffienly makes things so much easyier and more enjoyable that's for sure. Might finally be able to start to get some where on it haha
  4. havnt been on in ages havnt really had any update till now. its finally in the shed up on the hoist. i can finally start getting progress on my car so happy. heres some pics shocks and sway bar are out, drained the oil will be removing the rest. noticed that the guy before me put a shit load of silicon around the diff to try stopping it from leaking. there was also alot of metal shavings on the drainage plug so its deffienlty shagged. hopefully alot more updates will becoming and alot quicker to chris
  5. Yea it's a 4 tonne 2 post hoist Umm it's high enough that's all I know haha Quick little update. Re wired the stereo, ran all the wires for speakers and the amp yesterday. Havnt really done much lately waiting to get it in the shed on the hoist. Can't really do that much out the front of the house on gravel haha Thanks chris
  6. not many updates. things are at the point where i need to get it in the shed and get the car hoist installed in the shed. all that was done this weekend, i finished the dash, figured out my stereo set up and ran most the wires( having trouble figuring out how to wire the head unit so it works wiht out the ignitation having to be on), mounted my air horns( yet to wire them up). not a car update but a working area update. my dad just bought a car hoist so have been helping clean up and sort the shed out can't wait for that to be up make things easy and ill be able to get a move on with bigger project on my pano
  7. its illegal to do any thing to it can't even change air filters and such. i know if you drive like a dick head you will get hammered, i have to get new extractors any way so it was just an idea to try and find some thing that looks pretty stock. i might just go withe heat shield idea. thanks for the help guys
  8. Hey guys I'm looking for stock looking extractors, with the new P plate laws in SA its illegal to have free flowing exhausts. So has any one know of or have stock looking headers, or any thing better then stock what doesn't look like it's not stock? If that makes sense. Thanks chris
  9. Mmm that's lovely. Time to look for a new diff :(
  10. Cheers for that. So if it's got the same centre as you put in it's welded right?
  11. So a wagon diff will fit if I put a sedan drive shaft in? Philbey- yes he works there but his excuse was " why would I do a wheel aliment with a car I'm only going to own for a couple more days " I think that's deffiently the wrong attitude when/after selling a car. Twin carbs- with the new P plate laws it's illegal to have them, if I fit a single one I'll be able to kinda hide it under a stock air filter I think. There's also a problem that only one of my solexs is in working condition with all the parts. My other one has lost a Ventura and is going to be impossible to find a new one. Oh-ke- thanks for that think was so overrated before, also gives a bit of a inside to what was done before the last owner got it Thanks guys chris
  12. Finnaly got matching rims. I'll be striping the paint off them soon then getting to work polishing and repainting the centres. Also helped my dad clean out the shed found gauges from the 70's great find. Also front the trumpets for sidedrafts.
  13. I think I might just bash it all out sounds easier then swapping all that
  14. What cars why there? Because the lights are diffrent on the corners
  15. Okay thanks overrated ke70 I'll do some research and hunt around Bit of a update finished off the inside no need really for pictures. Hopefully getting another pair of rims to suit the front tomorrow. And does any one know if air horns are legal?
  16. okay the guy said its locked but its probely welded. its winey and leaking and has lots of play in the left axel and theres abit of oil getting in to the brakes
  17. so get a sedan and cut and weld the mounts from the panelvan back on?
  18. Hey guys bit of a update. I finished putting all my new dash and what not in. Trimmed the carpet to fit, it's looking pretty fresh just need to do a roof lining some how now. Here's what it looks like. sorry for bad pictures. Also called the best diff place in Adelaide. Didnt under stand what a locker was. They said if it's welded it's going to coat $845 to fix I do believe that sedan and panel van diffs are diffrent right? Thanks guys keep tuned
  19. I might have to check that out cause that's pretty much the colour I want cheers mate
  20. thanks for doing that it use to be so overrated :( do you know how long ago those pictures where taken? thought i might upload some more pictures of it. bit of panel damage to the left hand well quite a bit, are they the same from sedan to the panel van?
  21. "The overrated KE70" its out of a ae71 sedan and i grabbed all the brackets but ther seems to be a huge gap and the brackets don't seem to line up that well so I'm kinda confused at the moment. bAKER, its proving to be a hard task. I'm thinking about trying to make one but even that is going to be a extreme task, so i don't know what I'm going to do about that yet. no matter what happens I'm going to have to hide every thing under a air filter(stock type) to make it look stock. the fan is hooked up to a switch but I'm going to re wire it so that its on to the thermostat. it is a spinny fan thing i don't know weather to keep it or not hmmmmm :hmm:
  22. Bit of progress today thanks school for the day off haha well I got my new dash, carpet, seats in today such a improve ment. Having some problems with te centre console though. This isn't going to be perment, later on down the track I'm hoping to put a custom dash and cente console and some nice racing seats. This is what it looks like at the moment Was brown now blue Chris
  23. Bit of an update riped the dash seats and vinyl out. This is my new dash and all the bits New seats they need the surport strap repaired Dash is out And vinyl is out I'll be putting it all back together tomorrow tune in later
