So i have a ae71 tacho dash, i'm going to put it in my ke70 panel van. but none of the plugs line up, I've found a guide on toymod http://www.toymods.org.au/forums/tech-conversions/568-ke70-panel-van-dash.html still kinda can't get my head around it. any help would be great, i still have the 4k in my pano as well. thanks chris

got some photos the from the other day just of the front guards. i also went to upullit today and got a stock air filter, got home did some cutting and modifying fits pretty well. both look about the same. started off like this. cut every thing off can't seeing in this picture but yea. now looks stock

i have ordered a seat belt from repco should be here some time this week. i also changed my washer bottle, started making those changes coming along good so far. front guards are also almost done, then its just time to do the rear guards. i also wanna run a lsd soonish but don't know how i want to do it. i also toke it for a burn up and down my road. it seems to go pretty well, but doing 70 in 3 if you put your foot down it kinda lags then picks up the revs and goes. i don't know if this is due to the lack of exhaust and bad tune or the cam?

if your over 25 and on your P's you can drive any thing.

i used the points/ ignition module version. also changing up the design of the washer bottle. going to separate the two then weld them together getting way to much distortion. the front end is almost done as well just got alittle bit of grinding and bogging. i also painted in the inside of the drivers guard with the body deader to cover the fact i cut and welded the guards. forgot to get pictures but yea update soon. I also still need a drivers side seat belt, a stock air filter ill pay postage from any where.

well that's the plain with the weber put a stock filter on. but i don't know how to get around the exhaust any cop that is out to get there quota will get me on it.

hey guys, so i was reading up on the p plate laws. my ke has extractors and a 32/36 this is a breach in the laws. I'm kinda stressing about if i drive it and get pulled over and they see i have these i will most likely lose demerit points. and then i don't get my full license until I'm like 21 or some thing. am i stressing to much? i was thinking about trying to get a exemption but i don't see that happening. any help, info or suggestions would be great thanks

what do you mean by igniter? is that the coil driver? wiht the insulated cable do you mean connects the coil diver and all that or what? thanks for the info

so i went to Elizabeth and gillman upullits today. Elizabeth was a was of time expect i found some things that i had to hide around the yards for next time. but the best find of the day was a baby blue ke70 wagon at gillman. since my hatch is dented and rusted alone the bottom, i thought i would pick up this overrated one. also got the boot seal as well. it was in great condition defiantly a upgrade to the torn one. also got a pretty overrated garnish thingy with the number plate lights in. just needs a polish and a paint and its ready to go. got parts to fix the lock on the back as well.

yea it was from a place in Brisbane. it has been sent back today to get a full refund. will be buying probably of tunersgroup

finished off the hand controller for ignition. now i just got to figure out how to wire it up what coil i need and then ignition curve. if any one can help out with any of these it would be great. i also sanded back the bonnet got rid of the horrible camo bonnet, and started fixing some dents in it. all the supports have broken lose how would i glue these back to the bonnet skin? also working on the guards still, passenger side guard is all most up to being bogged. driver side is all most done. thanks guys.

nahh all good. yea if you wont one, i don't know how much it would cost depending on gas. but if you like the finished product we can go from there. or even if you know how to tig weld i can get every thing cut out and you can weld it?

I'm kinda using it as a learning tool, and this is just like the stock one so its washer and radiator overflow. It should look pretty neat when its done as well.

i got stuck in to the washer bottle tonight. i linished all the pieces ready to be welded. its a little tricky tacking every thing together as 316 is nonmagnetic. this lead to a few tack welds not joining and burning slight holes. but once i got the hang of it it started working out fine. there's also a few spots that don't line up and are gaps. if i make another one i will have to change a few things for it to work. ill also have to work out some sort of jig to make it a tad easier. also when i first started tacking it together i didnt set it up to well so i blow a few tack welds but i have it all sorted now.
