  1. haven't really had the time to work on this, daily driver popped a head gasket just when i could actually start work on this again. i have finally welded a patch in the roof so there's no more holes. haven't smoothed the welds yet but it looks so much better now. also got parts coming in soon. chrome bar, kamei lip, tires, nardi steering wheel, retro gauges and tires. hopefully have this back on the road in the next month or so.
  2. I seem to have the same problem I've rebuilt the start and it takes about 30 god then it might start. It clicks and that's it I have put the jumper pack on it and the click just go louder and more intense. Same problem or not?
  3. this is on hold as of today. need the shed to paint the boat ready for summer. going to try and do some stuff where it is now. mainly just do little things and buy parts for now. cheers chris

  7. started bogging the front guard. didnt get much done had to go out. pasted my final drive so i get my P's in 10 days. pretty sure I'm getting a cheap daily so there no rush wiht the panelvan any more i can do all the work then start driving it.
  8. for now it will do its not that hard to fit it and do it so its round and all that. i actually kinda like it see how it looks after its been bogged. i like to try new and different things this was one of them
  9. i was thinking about like that but its so much more work and i kinda want it done in the next 2 weeks. plus i actually kinda like it after i bog it and all that it shouldn't look that agricultural.
  10. I'm so confused what your trying to get at, at the moment.
  11. so ive been working on my guards lately. they arnt going to be to many peoples tastes but i don't really care i like them. all weld have been ground down now and all that. tire clearence isnt really an issue.
  12. i think for now ill just put a big metal cable tie and it to stop it for now. i have cmaber tops so i can dial in a fair bit at the moment. also was bored before work to day so polished and painted my window wipers not the best photo but yea. thanks guys
  13. cheers 1jz. fixed my boot lock today. just pulled it fully apart banged it on the bench acouple of times then filled it with wd40. just need to make a clip that holds it to the hatch so you can't pull it out.
  14. that was going to be the next thing to do slo-030, but we where going to do it higher up but where you said to seems like a better spot to do it. i need tires before i do any more work on the guards i think.
  15. I'm pretty sure it would clear, its only a ruff one trying to get ideas on what to do. i kinda like it, but still unsure on it. any ideas?
  16. reason?
  17. yay or nay?
  18. I'm pretty tempted to go wiht bolt ons but i want metal so I'm gonna give it ago tomorrow. 195's on a 8inch rim is only slightly stretched?
  19. well i have cmaber tops now and they are wound all the way in. the rim alone sticks out 15-20mm and ive flared one guard today but i don't think it did it right :hmm: but i think ill be getting 185/60's put on.
  20. started doing the guards today, toke the spring out the strut so i can jack up the wheel and get some ideas on how much they need to be done. I'm kinda at a point where i have done as much a i can and theres still 15mm of over hang so am i doing some thing wrong or what? at this point i don't see how i can get ther rear guards to go that far also so I'm thinking about bolt on flares. help would be good.
  21. Haha that's true. We do have to pretty good here Even then number plate stands for urrbrae haha
  22. Yea I though about it but I would Rather flare them even if Ita more work. I do actually how would you know haha?
  23. okay so i picked these bad boys up today. hurricanes 14x8 -10 they are bigger then i thought they where going to be but not by that much. they poke out by 20-25mm so if any ones got tips on doing the guards it would be alot of help. they look amazing just have to make them fit now cheers guys
  24. got in to fixing my seats tonight, the band underneath was split through the rubber. so the good old cable ties came in to play. punched holes through the rubber where its melted in to the mesh laced it with some half decent sized cable ties pushed down and pulled tight, sat it in the car and made sure it was tight enough cut them to clean it up, reinstalled in to the car and felt as good as new and cost like 5 bucks. now to do the drives seat cheers chris
  25. i am thinking about getting rid of the spinny spinny or at least getting a smaller new one but not to sure at the moment.
