Given up mountain biking sadly, can't risk the injurys downhilling has. Can't seem to sell my bike though what's disappointing.

Always loved these, did work experience at a place that was working on one. Looked great even better to be shoot gun in it for a lap around the block. Looks good, be a fun project.

I'm not actually sure what type of muffler it is, exhaust guy never went in to details. But I would guess its almost straight through. Have had police comment on it being way to loud. Ill have a play around. Cheers for the info

2 inch system with a 12inch hot dog then to a sports muffler but I have a feeling it's not doing much to cut down the noise.

I'm having a problem where my 4k is way to loud. If I just put a longer hot dog in it will cut the sound but keep it still free flowing?

Even if you just put a muffler one at the end of the extractors would help. Mine was the same putting a 32/36 on was really hard to make it run with no exhaust put a muffler on at the extractors. Made it easy to tune and ran fairly nicely, plus side once the exhaust is on it should still be fairly close.

Figured out why I have so much track longer LCA's so I've put stock ones in. Well half way through doing it. It also gets rid of this dodgy welding.

Hey guys, Putting a cyclops in a mates ke70 at the moment. Got it all wired up for testing, hit a few problems. It won't arm or disarm, central locking works but won't work if the -ve door switch isn't earthed what is strange cause your door has to be open to lock it. I have got the immobilizing part wired up would this be effecting it? I can up wiring pages and all that if its needed. And my mate also lost the pin code for it but that shouldn't matter yet cause we can't even get to the point of needing it. Any help would be great.

Well it's a ke70 panel can with 4k shaved head, huge cam, 32/36 weber has 4 into 1 headers in to a 2 inch system with a hot dog and free flowing muffler. Would a glass pack muffler quieten it but keep it free flowing?

I've got a problem at the moment with my car being way to loud it hurts your ears after driving. its 2 in system from the extractors back with a fairly short hot dog and then a fairly free flowing muffler on the back. i want to build a drop tip glass pack muffler like you would run on a rotary, the plan would be to make it fairly large, pack it with stainless steel wool and then muffler pack. I don't know if i will be going backwards with trying to get it quieter, i don't know how much just a standard muffler would restrict the system. it has shaved head, 32/36 weber, huge cam and so on. it moves a lot of air, so i don't really want to put on a stock type muffler to cut noise down and lose flow. i know there's always heaps of topics bout exhausts but i have the standard system every one says to get and is way to loud. i know there's kinda of a science to it to get maximum torque and power. i just don't know where to start 2 inch might be the wrong size all together. does any one know how to do all the maths to work out the perfect exhaust system for power wise and could still be quiet?

That's only until I'm on my p 2's same laws just no P plates. I could try and get a exemption for it but don't like my chances.

Well I do but our P plate laws I'm not aloud any modifications perfomence and could mean losing licence on the spot. I really want to but it's risky.

as my shoulder is ʞ©$ɟed, spent the day just cleaning my sideys. they aren't like super clean but they are a shit load better then they where, i will end up polishing them one day. i want to put them back on but don't really want to do it on my P's but see what happens. tried abit of polishing just used 600 grit sand paper then just rubbed it wiht silvo toke like 2 minutes and came up mirror finish but if i go finer will be better. should of cleaned my manifold as well. also need to quieten down my exhaust its way to loud, thinking about putting the muffler just before diff then having a rotary type drop tip muffler. I'm on my P 2's in about 10 days so no more P plates so exhaust i should be able to get away with but needs more quite.

Okay makes me feel little better I have shaved head but huge cam and have 130psi over all 4.

Does compression ratio and cams change the compression test out come or not?

Fronts are 6's and rear are 6.5's haven't worked out offsets yet might do it on the weekend dislocated my shoulder today so I'm out of action for awhile but got home from hospital and got in to it haha.

New guards showed up the other day go in to getting one on. Picked the side what was in a crash, ended up straighting front end up. Kinda got the left one one looks good with new rims. Kinda have the same problem as I use to with the wheels poking out.

So I check the float and seem to be alright, give the needle and seat a clean didn't seem to have any thing in it. I can't drive it so don't know what it's like now but doesn't blow black shit out the exhaust. Jets are 175/145 so they shouldn't be far off. Need to get it of defect to see if its okay now or is there away of telling if its still running heaps rich?

Nahhh there's got to be cop shops still. Guards aren't for getting it off defect, using the 14x8's for my track car so big guards are not needed now.

Getting brand new front guards for this hopefully by next week, Then return rears to stock. Then there's only small jobs to get it off defect.
