well, i would have made an entrance here on Saturday night, unfortunately, I was waaaaay too drunk to work out how to turn the computer on, or even type!!! I had a blast whilst out, my husband left me at the bar of a nightclub chatting with a guy about cars (by this time I was REALLY, REALLY drunk but still coherent, apparently I'm "an awesome chick and it's a shame I have no sisters" two of the people in our group thanked me for being so entertaining, apparently a guy came up to my husband, put his arms around him - of the guy looked like chopper reid and apparently I told him to get his hands off my husband or else I'd have to sort him out, he asked me if i was serious and I said yes, he aplogised to me and told my husband he was sorry!! I also met a dog called saxon and laughed for about 10 minutes non stop in a taxi and wouldn't tell anyone why :jamie: I then had a hangover from hell, and I still have a headache :no2:

I went down to the workshop and the cracks are in the .... uh... ok, if you look at your hand and the bit between your fingers is kind of a web bit? it's like that ... it's not off the car yet, so there may be more underneath, at this moment in time, I think it's just going to be welded until I figure out what I want to do (and save up some money!) I have an appointment next friday with an exhaust shop, he's going to have a look and he mentioned something about boilers pipe? oh, the mechanic is also concerned about the amount of oil through the turbo.....we shall wait and see....

new issue: Cracked Exhaust Manifold I had my exhaust manifold replaced in 2007 and I've got the car in having some work done and the mechanic has called with bad news, the exhaust manifold is cracked, and Toyota want $1500 for a new one.....I'm not impressed, it's only 18 months old!!!! So what else can I do? Lesley :jamie:

what grinds my gears: not being involved in something (because it's not my thing) to get woken up anyway with "where are the keys" blah blah blah, I give specific directions (which are not followed) and then "i can't find them", I get up repeat my instructions and low and behold there they are! THEN off they go and I think great I can grab another hours sleep before I have to get up, only to get phone spammed by said people^^^ where is this? can you look it up for me? Sure I say I'll call you back.... they ring back a minute later, why didn't you call "BECAUSE MY COMPUTERS STILL LOADING, I WILL CALL YOU WHEN I HAVE DIRECTIONS" look up the info, and call them back, right maybe I can still grab 45 minutes shut eye...... oh no! ITS NOT X place it's Y place", fine I'll look up that then, THEY'RE getting cranky with ME? they're lucky they're not in bitch slapping range!

uh, no he is buying it for ME, he's not into cars as much as I am, he's into fast cars (made fast by mechanics), radio controlled helicopters and computers, the new garage is for both of us, as he's getting a new body kit and new paint, but I'm the one who has been pestering him for a pit for the last five years!! And he's told me I'm not allowed to have a pit because of heavy gasses, water and rodents. so yes, it is for ME! hehehe :P

ok, so stage one of exterior has been completed (a couple of weeks ago) this included the hubs and the tail-lights being painted gloss black :P Stage one of engine bay "glamour" mods has been completed, rocker cover, strut brace brackets and air intake plenum in dark red with pearl overlay. Stage 2 starts on the 15th, new radiator, re-modified CAI (with bracket!) with the two pipes being painted phantom black, a deep dark glossy black with a bit of sparkle in them! and new black silicone piping, re-routing one of the hoses around along the side of the engine bay, and a bit of braided hosing. The only good photo I have of stage one engine bay I didn't take, (it was taken at last weeks cruise!).. Stage 3 will be hopefully late December, this will include the battery bracket being painted the same colour as the rocker, the fuel rail chromed, the heat shield and manifold HPC'd. That will take me up to January when the exterior front end re-spray will be completed and a couple of touch ups to the black paint at the front of the engine bay :D Oh, as an aside...my husband is the GREATEST!! Guess what he's buying me for my birthday? A HOIST!!! I'm VERY excited!! I'm a happy camper! :'(

On Thursday I spotted a bright sky blue KE..I'm going to go with 55, up at Bridgewater, he had a transformer badge where the Corolla one goes on the front grille, it looked SO good :'( I complemented him on it....and I asked him if he'd heard of RollaClub and he said yeah, and then looked at me weird.....
