  1. Two can play that game. I found this ages ago.
  2. I hope to start soon. I need to rip the Skany 4K out. These days are just too HOT. I get as far as opening the bonnet, saying its too HOT and closing it. All I've got to do is pull it out. She's all disconnected. :) I've got a few RDO's coming up in the coming weeks, I might start then.
  3. Thats the way I pulled it off.
  4. Mines located further north. Sorry. Must have been a differance between 35 and 55s.
  5. What grinds my gears?? Couriers Please and Greyhound Freight. Greyhound contracts Couriers Please to pick up parcels and drop them off at their depot. The courier came to my house, chucked a shit that I had to go and get the parcel and took off. He apparently came by that arvo and "no one was home". (My parents were home) Then he apparently said that if he didn't pick it up in the next morning he wasn't going to come back to my house again. I was told he would come at 8am and he never showed. He never picked up the parcel. I had to borrow my sisters wagon today to drop the parcel off at the depot dear the city. I rang Greyhound and they told me I don't get a refund cause the courier couldn't pick up the parcel on the first attempt. I'm not happy, I will be complaining to both companies as this isn't the first time I've come across this courier and his bad attitude.
  6. Now heres the after shots. Shot of the day... After all that it looks like its going to storm, so I went to put the cover back on and now i've got grass inside the cover. I believe this is the worlds worst car cover!!!
  7. Well its been months since I've last taken the covers off SL2. So since I bought a pump last week and washed Lolla, I decided to spend the day washing SL2 as she has not been washed while I have owned her. Here are the before pics... I pulled out the glove box to install the final piece of the aircon ducting. I've had these in my garage for a long time and decided to replace the ones on the car as they have badly perished. See. After I detailed the interior. Degreased the bay. Man was it bad. One step closer to getting the Skanky 4K out! More to come...
  8. This came today. Here is my one in my car. Its missing the selector part on the side. This pic shows the one I bought at the wreckers, my one and the new one. Not sure If I'm going to put the new one on. I will use the mirror part and the clear plastic part but as for the main section, until the other selector breaks it will be in the shed. I like the original ones better as they are metal too.
  9. Oh I remember the good old days. 70-80 cents was a good price. We will never see it under $1 again.
  10. This is what I have to deal with every day at work!!
  11. It could work, If everyone had 6 cars like me, and If all had fuel, No one would fill up for 6 weeks or so. Then they'd choke.
  12. Here is another Quick Fix that I'm doing to help me get her on the road. Since the carpet was cut out just in the foot wells, I've bought another set of these Michelin mats. I've had a set just like these for about 5 years now and they are currently in my KE30. Hopefully they will cover all of the non carpeted spots until I get the chance to buy new carpet.
  13. They should have a referance at any auto parts shop telling you what plugs to use for what engine.
  14. OWCH!! That looks painful. That steering wheen doesn't look too original either. I love the black interior, looks HOT and probably is HOTTER is summer ;) Love the RED, looking forward to seeing the progress on this one.
  15. Came close to telling my parents about this car tonight. They were no more than 15m away from it. But I decided not to to spare myself a lecture about "When" the shed will be built.
  16. I've been watching the Thia shit for a while now and yes they ahve been way overprices, but when I saw the price for this then the cheap postage I couldn't resist. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...N:IT&ih=022
  17. Its brand new. And the tin is a Tobacco tin.
  18. I'm pretty sure the director/producer has something to do with it.
  19. I thought we were saying Hi to Cameron :jamie:
  20. TE31, they had a bigger car earlier didn't they?? I haven't followed the show too closely. They must have downsized somewhere down the track to a cheaper more economical car.
  21. Oh and in Look Who's Talking, the car getting towed in the end is a TE31 two door sedan.
  22. I saw the herbie one. And in BMX bandits there is a HOT KE36 panno at the shopping center. Saw a few TE51's in the 1988 remake of Gone in 60 Seconds. The movie was never finished as the producer/director/actor/stuntman was killed in one of his own stunts.
  23. Looking good. I'm liking what I see. You can come work on my car/s anyday :jamie:
  24. So I drove Tabs home to my sisters house last week, the tail shaft was rattling a fair bit. The bonnet was bouncing too as the latch broke. I had zip tied it down just in case it flew up. I thought the zip tie had broken on the drive home as it was rattling heaps, but it haddn't, so I just tightened it. Worked great. I started her today, still starts after a week. I also may have tracked down the passenger side seat adjuster. Bought this on eBay... Lastly I've tracked down a rubber kit for $500 that I might buy soon. Oh and and look what fell out from somewhere under the dash while driving... Its a Tobacco Tin.
  25. Okay todays shots. So I was messing around with my brother-in-laws gloves. He didn't like that much. Lastly, Don't hug this corner!!
