LOL YEA TIS TRUE BUT HERE IN PERTH WE GET HOUNDED BY POLICE SO IVE MODIFIED THE ORIGINAL FILTER BOX ONTOP OF MY 32/36 HOLLEY SOUND DIF IS HUGE TO NO FILTER AT ALL o.O

ive a 4k (1.3) the best part is nearly every item to change on a 4k is interchangerable to a 5k though when you do what ive done mcguyvered a vacumm advance into the dizzy original air filter ontop of a 32/36 holley etc it gets messy but its still all bolt on bolt off or is it bolt off bolt on ? :P

been a while I'm dead broke :( GOT A 32/36 HOLLEY and ordered a lynx adaptor plate get that tomorrow sourced OUT A FEW BROKEN AND MISSING PARTS MISSING CHROME, button, working on the horn and bonnet latch just need to order 2 tyres after that and then i have a SAFE car - not stickerable still trying to find a 5k motor hopefully with a 4spd auto box ... anyone ?

I'm currently waiting for the adaptor plate for my 4k and then this weekend ill put it on and be making a custom linkage from memory ill prob just cut and old peice off and weld it in the right spot .. worked for a15 .. fully rebuilt 3 months ago cost me 200 looks brand new :D

best way to do the timing is get piston # 1 top dead center and line the dizzy up - take out spark plug and when it gets to top if it doesnt go 180 spin the dizzy- works on every car i ever owned ummm does anyone have a pic of the carby lines on a 4k? , i think i got mine wrong .. :(

absolute best way to do timing is get piston 1 on to top dead centre .... does anyone by any chance have a pic of a 4k carby "79 ? i did mine but i think i got the lines wrong theres like 10 of them ....

i like the trim its a corolla its old school and it came with chrome thats how you know its old ... hahaha lol as long as its not in your face chrome its great - a touch of classyup, I'm chasing the right rear half gutter trim in reasonable nick for a ke55 ill pay about 100 bucks freight is negotiable ....
