hey dan, may be interested in your exhaust. I'm currently driving my rolla round with only 60cm worth of exhaust on it. have been quoted around $400 at a couple of exhaust shops, but don't really want to spend that much. its currently 2 1/4 inch off the turbo, but 2 inch would do. what sort of muffler if any does it have and a rough asking price?? Are you north or south?? REgards, Si.

it was all just done for shits and giggles really. :wink: oh yeah, it was $400 in parts etc (out of that fuel pump was $97, and exhaust was $80 being the most expensive parts) got 2 1g ct12's for free!! but there was also around 100 hours of my own labour which was the big saver. 100hours x say $60 (average mechanics hourly rate) = way to much for a corolla. :y:

was in bathurst car park thursday night i think. you can see the auto shop at the college from there. somone said "hey whats that up on the hoist,...a datsun?" which you could see through the window. I reply with ".....bugger the datto, that looks like a clubman behind those see-through brick things!" what'da know I was right!!! :wink:

Blame darren not me :wink: haha trout slap!! engine bay looks HEAPS better now, isn't full of charf like in this pic. I was driving it round for a little while with absolutely no exhaust on it- just coming straight out the back of the turbo. when i buy a new usb cable for my camera i'll get some pics up of the new engine looking engine bay.

in all realities darrens engine is (was) the toughest k series in the world!! :wink: this is my car. total set up was done for under $400. has had a bit more work done since this pic, now has a front mount etc. should be running at tassie nats not this weekend but bext.
