  1. Who cares about power per litre when a 6L LS2 weighs under 100lb more than a 4L 1UZFE and makes 120kw more power? Mullets and pushrods for life! :) Hell it's only a couple hundred pounds more than a 1.6L 4AGE
  2. Give us a clue? I'm beginning to think it's not actually a Honda is it?
  3. http://ke55.1colony.com/about.html
  4. I don't think there is such a thing as an LS4, so I'm not sure what you're talking about. Why add more technology when they are already pushing 500HP at 7000RPM in the LS7, a 7L V8 which weighs less than a 1UZ, pushrods and all.
  5. Looks cool man, can I ask you what the exhaust is and how does it sound? Also where did you get that dash restored, looks awesome!
  6. I think the orange colour is stock as is interior trim so yeah it matches pretty well, it's a dark brown and I think that pretty much goes with anything lol. I like the orange and I know black is a difficult colour in regards to finish/maintenance but I couldn't live with myself if I didn't try, it's got to be black lol. Thanks for the comments. Chrome FTW. :lolcry:
  7. GM makes some of the best small block V8's in the world IMO, pushrods and relatively low power per litre doesn't change the fact that the Gen IV LS2 puts out 400HP and weighs around 450lb fully dressed. I think thats actually lighter than the 1UZFE, which I also think is an incredible engine.
  8. It was resprayed dodgy mango/orange as you can see by the picture but is/was cracked and faded all over the place so it will be resprayed black, interior was brown w/black door trims and everything being replaced will also be black. Going to get some TE27 flares, put the chrome trim back on, lower it a little and put some performance superlites mags on it. Should look pretty tough I hope. :lolcry:
  9. Thanks mate, yeah I actually got it looking like this (Warning: Sorry large picture ahead): http://www.imagehosting.us/index.php?actio...w&ident=1300285 So basically have everything I need plus the KE55 for brakes/spares when it runs out of rego. It's also a deluxe model so it came with cool embroidered seats and shit. :lolcry:
  10. I'm a relatively new poster here (long time reader) and thought I might chuck up some pics of my DD and Project KE25. Stock KE55 beater, complete with dodgy manual conversion, 50% compression on #1 Cylinder and noisy tappets! Project KE25, currently being stripped for small rust repairs/acid dip/respray and a FULL rebuild/restoration of every single mechanical/electronic/interior component. That's it! Will post more pics as I progress.
  11. Yeah it would be nice he has an ABN and such already, they will be getting back to him on Tuesday. Just btw he told me today he is building up a Megasquirt install for an AE86 Trueno (TVIS model), I'll post more in this thread once he's started.
  12. I have a friend here in Sydney who is applying to be the Australian Megasquirt distributor as they do not have one here at the moment; he has a fully functioning megasquirt computer wired up and ready for installation into his EB2 Falcon but has decided not to use it as he is now decoding the Ford ECU instructions from Assembler (CPU instructions for those not in the know) to plain text so it can be tuned/rewritten as he desires with NO piggy back ECU - pretty neat if you ask me! I'm sure if anyone was interested in having a Megasquirt made I could put you in touch with him, let me know via PM.
