this baby is in such good condition that we are going to restore it to new condition. basically fix her up and re spray. it wasnt granny that crashed it was her granddaughter. lol granny had just died and she inherited the car =( but she is in good hands now. lol i so can't wait to get into it....

Well here she is guys. Our project car Number 2 "BLUEBELLE" A bit of info to start. Our first intention was to get a Rolla for our son (who i might add is only 4) so we could do a: Speedway car or b: be his first car. We managed to score this Ke20 from Armadale/Kelmscott We got her home and found that a speedway car she will not be. Too much rust. But good even excellent for parts. So the hunt was on and luckly we acctually bought the quokka this Thursday and there was bluebelle. She was only around the corner. Been smashed by a woman driver. But still in pretty good condition. I fell in love with her and so did Chris. But i sadly gave him the keys. lol I will keep my Ke70. We will have to do a bit of work to her Front end because the woman drove her over a two lane roundabout and into a guard rail. (Poor baby) Bent the swing arm and a big Fender Bender. *Sob* But thankfully can be pannel beaten out. No creases. She does have a slight bit of surface rust on the lower part of the rear window but that is about it. Her body is very straight and after sitting for 2 years still sounds sweet. I can't wait to drive her. Am jealouse Chris drove her home. Well here is some pics of "BLUEBELLE"

hi boyz,i was looking in the FAQ and i sore that you could use skyline brakes in ke70s. has any one ever used R31 brakes to upgrade there 114.3 stud patten corolla, and is it easy to install? thanks Chris

i take in no one has a 4k with extractors. i made a blanking plate to cover to hole in the exhort manifold, so any k series engine can use the side drafts. so any one want to have a go??? i'll even buy you a new gasket and give you a special gift!!! thanks chris

you betya, even so some people think that they can get $1500 for 4age that is broken or realy tired.(in perth anyway) yet to see some thing even close to a "Good Deal". :thumbsup:

hi boyz, time for one of Chris's lame questions i have got a ke20 auto, but i am going to leave it auto. question 1, can i use a ke55 or ke70 autobox in a ke20 question 2, what the frig does the vacumme control do on the ke70 auto box? thanks Chris

well one problem i have is the "ke" carby is old and needs a kit through it, because the fuel needle is stuffed so it floods on idle. that could explane the run on (maybe) but has anyone else had a single dcoe on there 4k before? and if so do you remember the set up?

Well there is only one way to know for sure, test drive! i'll just go to a car yard and try out an AE71 (to cheap ase to buy it) :thumbsup:

no, but i did buy the ke20 in forrestfield. i had to sell my motorcycle to get the cash (kawasaki kz250b, only 3500 released world wide!!!) but i sold it to my father-in-law so it went to a good home. :ninja: but this ke20 is in great condition, i'll post you some pics later.

hi boys, i was looking at a buyin a parts car, its a ke 70 with a 4ac in it. what is the deal wiht the 4ac? is it a strong motor?do thay explode on take off? and why is the 4a-c not in the FAQ. or is it not worth talking about?

hi perth rolla drivers, is you may have read i'm have in trouble with my ride. i was thinking maybe some one would be willing to let me put my dcoe weber on thier car a see if it runs ok. all you need is a 4k with extractors if you still have a standard cam it your ride that would be realy nice. thanks boys and girls chris

i changed the carby and the ALB "angey little b***h" ran nicer. but she still runs on and won't idle properly. thinking about putting the other motor "original engine" back in and putting this one back on the stand for a close detailed look :P

bad news!!! pulled out the boot liner and found lumps and folds lines in the floor. then i ran a measuring tape around and it "too" out of square. ill have to use her for parts :P

just a thought (maybe I'm wrong) but my father-in-law said that oil type coils can be afected by the cold. or maybe it's just crap

i think i saw some thing about the ke springs with pics, and it looked like you could put ke 70 springs to stiffen it up.

all right boys its home safe a sound. time to tell you how much i payed for my little beast, 80 dollars. got her to run and got a permit. runs alright but i stalled at the lights and every one was realy pissed (maybe i should not have not moved her in peak hour) then almost cooked the engine on the trip home. the radator was boiled dry, but it cooled down and started agian. and limped into my drive way. and there she'll stay (at lest for a little while)

I just brought a ke 20, with a carby(that has no emotion control) that i was going to chuck on to see if i makes any diffrents. i cleaned the dcoe out and it is "running better", but the idle is way out now, can't get it to drop below 2000 rpm. but i can get the ass end to slide out now. i'm thinking of putting it on the 3k and seeing how it goes.

hi boys (and girls), I'm have loads of fun at the with my 40 dcoe. its on a 4k-c and the jets are all out of wack. But the real problem is the Aux venturi and the chokes. I took the air cleaner (ramflow) off and they fell out!!! I'm thinking this is a bad sign. has any one played with single dcoe before? my side draft has a "L" stamped on it under the air cleaner (so i think it was a pair once) current set up: venturi chokes 27mm Main jet 105 Air corrector 155 emulsion tube F20 (never seen or hear of before) Idel jets 40 F8 fuel pump 35 fuel pump inlet 45 choke jets 60 F5
