Colour teaser! Really wanted to stick with the original kinda colour rather than something flashy, however it will be getting some old school touches to it....... i like how the gold pops in the sunlight, must say ive never painted a car brown before lol.

Getting there RHR1/4 panel all done, it had to be pumped back out a good 2" after what appears to be a light hit and panelbeaters that obviously didnt own a hammer or dolly!, anyway on to the front stonetray and minor dents now loving the fact that every time i pull a panel off its only dust underneath, shes a clean little girl i don't doubt the 73000 ks on the clock at all!

I almost got a rear off the ground and the bootlid popped open lol...

Ok so weve begun the restoration of this ol girl plans are as follows..... Full panel and paint inside and out Color will be based on BMWs Marakesh Brown pearl Full recoed bumpers and chromework Full rubber kit including screens Complete bush n rubber kit for suspension etc Polish and colorcode fr simmons wheels Fit metal sunvisor and custom venetian Rwc and reg CRUISE TILL THE TYRES FALL OFF YEEAAHHHH! Wish us luck well be updating thread just like the corolla...

RUSTWORK ALL DONE! there really was only one 50 cent piece sized hole in the lhf guard, nothing behind it when the guard was removed, Now its time to remove all the stainless trim n chrome, then the lhr 1/4 needs a good cleanup few little trolley dents here and there and paint the little ol girl EASY..... lol

Ours has been shimmed by about 6mm on ps engine mount, we run redline manifold, soft mounts and 45mm ramtubes, i simply milled 10mm off number three trumpet for tower clearance...

Ive got the column switch but not the wheel sorry if you need the switch its yours..

Is it smokey? What do the plugs look like after a good run, also check the compressor wheel ,drawthrough can send all sorts of stuff into there which may have chewed it up...

We saved the avons for some curcuit duties, theres some more vids ill get clevo to post em up ,also some pretty cool shots from various motorsport photographers, however well be taking it down to bairnsdale on the 28th for another crack with a lot more preparation, once we get a good tune into it ive got no doubt that it will be a class favourite cheers for the motorvation guys...

Popped its cherry!, Car went quite well today had an accelerator cable stretch only giving us half throttle and a very sticky burnout pad which ended up blowing the headgasket out of it after a few donuts and some pretty wild 7 grand clutchdumps lol heres some pics.... with a bit more sorting out and the gas this little critter will be a blast.

Cars entered and now it wants to play up!, Everything from voltage regulators melting, broken accelerator cables, stuck floats, needles the whole shebang lol, but not until after a good blast in it where it was happy to light up the avons with a second gear clutch dump just to keep us keen ahhh kseries fun...

Yep shell be ready to rock next weekend, albeit aspirated as the gas setup is untested, not that I'm worried it should have plenty to offer without it, just need to put reco master cylinder in it bleed brakes and its test run time!, vids will be posted if you get the chance to come down to lardner be sure to come n say hi wed love to catch up.
