  1. Thanks for the tip.
  2. Thanks for the tip.
  3. Best mod you can do to that car is put a 5 speed in it. Reasonably cheap to buy the bits required. Might see you round next time I'm 4x4ing in coffs.
  4. We want to eventually but for now ke11 manifolds will do.
  5. Broke the starter motor when putting the nut on to hold the +ve cable on.
  6. No insurance. Lending your car to mates. Asking for trouble.
  7. No smoke. Not even when starting a stand still in 2nd. Very hard rubber. Good skid tyres but i wont by them again for a daily.
  8. Not retreads just Chinese branded tires
  9. I bought tires from them. Ok in the dry and dangerous in the wet. Going up hills in the wet in 4th gear and it just starts sliding at 100kph. Cheap though.
  10. What he said. Australian Ae71 and Ae86 have it on the passengers side. JDM or factory fitted 4age ae86's have it on the drivers side.
  11. http://www.3tcgarage.com/ http://www.brdracing.com/ Not many people tinker with T series engines on here. More info on 3tcgarage and BRD. My old 3tc with a 32/36 weber and extractors was fun but efi and turbo would be awesome :)
  12. 3k should get you a reasonable ae93 sx.
  13. My Saab wheels are 15x6 +30. Stamped on the rim.
  14. 5K is built and painted. Also got these for it, the ke11 will need them to hold down the torque from the 5k.
  15. Fan was Definantly pulling air.
  16. Clutch fan worked well tonight. Towing 1400kg from Toowong to Redhill and it did it well. Temp got to 85 and stayed there. At the moment I'm happy but four wheel driving will be the ultimate test.
  17. I don't think surface area was/is the issue but air speed. At 1500rpm the clutch fan feels to pull more air than the tens did. It will be tested tonight as i have to tow a Frontera through the back streets of Toowong which is ʞ©$ɟing steep.
  18. It didn't have a clutch fan shroud when I bought it which is why I put the twin fans on. I'm putting the clutch fan and a shroud on. It will cost me nothing so it's worth a try. Air intake to rad is huge. Driving at 30kph cools it down really quick which is what's making me think the fans arnt flowing enough air. Will do a water pump soon, cheap to buy and I don't know when this one was fitted or if it's original.
  19. They don't fit, all ready have a set and they are too wide.
  20. Didn't realize you had 3 kids. More info on this 1J '28 ford ?
  21. In 4L rock crawling, say 3000rpm and a walking pace.
  22. I have an after market gauge, new thermostat and new radiator. and yes Pajero. :)
  23. I am on the hunt for a shroud for the viscous coupling but its proving fruitless. I may make one pending skillz and motivation.
  24. Switch and it has no shroud just the fans up against the core with a bracket. Wiring is now thicker and neater but it made no difference.
  25. Hey Hey, I have twin 10 inch davies craig fans on my Paj and they just don't flow enough air to keep it cool for a low range flogging. Q. Can i mount a 16 inch fan on the engine side closest to the top hose on the passengers side of the rad and another 16 inch fan on the grille side closer to the bottom hose on the drivers side ?
