  1. http://www.mitsuoka-motor.com/english/ Blame this lot. They create all manner of unholy abominations. EDIT: I'm going to assume its Mitsuoka, they're the main offenders... But there's all sorts of smaller 'boutique customisers' in Japan that may be responsible.

  3. So, I got curious and did some research :P Just waiting on a reply from an importer as to whether they can actually be brought in, but if they are... FYI: All BZ-Tourings are auto. All of them. The lower-spec L and G Touring are manual, but don't have the blacktop 20V thus being completely ineligible to import. That being said, a manual swap would be very easy using parts from any old AE102, or you'd probably find a 6 speed fairly easily as leftovers from an imported blacktop halfcut. So, this is what you want... http://exchange.goo-net.com/usedcars/TOYOTA/COROLLA_TOURING_WAGON/0180120601K4000430011/index.html http://exchange.goo-net.com/usedcars/TOYOTA/COROLLA_TOURING_WAGON/700020547720120410001/index.html And in the course of searching... I found these :S http://exchange.goo-net.com/usedcars/TOYOTA/COROLLA_TOURING_WAGON/700102018020110414016/index.html http://exchange.goo-net.com/usedcars/TOYOTA/COROLLA_WAGON/700110043520120221001/index.html Mitsuoka strikes again...
  4. The coupe is approved for import, not sure about the wagon. Same money will get you a very decent Caldina though...
  5. I'm curious, but not curious enough to plug those two words into google lest the search results rend my nights sleepless

  7. Also gives the underpants gnomes something to grab onto as you drive past their nest

  9. No hang ring love here, unless you stole it yourself. From a train In Japan Clicking 'buy it now' doesn't make you bosozoku :)
  10. It is when you're shifting the ladies. And with this car, I shift a lot. (They're stackable)
  11. Sexual stripey 80's mouse fur ftw
  12. All the mud, dust, sump oil, rat piss and other crap accumulated on the panels from several years of storage shall remain. This car does not get washed. Not even once.
  13. By Zeus.... Bestill my quivering loins http://www.build-threads.com/build-threads/toyota-starlet-volvo-240/
  14. Has zero effect on takeoff. Only works at high RPM as the weights put pressure on the springs.
  15. Erm... HKS make parts for everything, haven't been affiliated with Nissan, ever, to the best of my knowledge. In fact the company was started by a dude who worked for Yamaha, so if anything, closer ties with Toyota... Sure you're not thinking of Nismo?
  16. I can't see this being of any real benefit in a 4k. You'd have to be making batty HP to be encountering clutch slip at high RPM, and 4K's don't make batty HP. Plus you'd be just adding reciprocating mass, so you'd need to take serious meat out of the flywheel to compensate.
