  1. I would own the shit out of a ruckus ute.
  2. They're approved to import under SEVS (from Japan) just like Skylines, Chasers, etc etc. They aren't sold officially through Honda Australia.
  3. The Zoomer/Ruckus are all grey imports. You'll most likely have to order one
  4. Not much cheaper... You'd think it would be, (encouraging people to use more efficient means of transport, lower road congestion etc) but no. 220-ish for a single seater, 400-ish for a two seater. Blame Newman. He boldly declared he'd 'freeze' rego costs, (and the plebs did rejoice in his benevolence) but only after increasing them for bikes and trailers.
  5. A cheaper alternative to the Ruckus is the ridiculously named Daelim B-Bone... I rode one, liked it a lot. Korean, but surprisingly good quality and being a 125cc it will actually keep up with traffic and make it over small hills without having to get off and push In case you haven't picked up on the subtlety I find 50cc scooters frustratingly slow and painful to ride
  6. Shady rocks a 1986 Helix 250 import. Still the longest wheelbase of any production motorcycle, ever. Its like riding a couch. I love it. :)
  7. Can get those swingarm extension kits outta Japan. (of course) Pity they're only 50cc. Someone needs to start importing the BIG Ruckus. 250cc, they can actually keep up with traffic.
  8. Scandinavia dude. Canada is sliding backwards into a conservative clusterʞ©$ɟ. Pretty girls though... Oh so very pretty...
  9. Falcon, Proton, rented trailer, rope, backwards. Everything about the scenario is wrong. These guys should probably like... Stop trying to... Do... Anything.
  10. That's bargain basement 'mates rates' for an OEM quality job here, so that's a bit interesting. Ta.
  11. Sometimes, the spirit of jazz decides to infect you at awkward moments and you have no say in the matter
  12. If I may be so bold, what are costs like for bodywork/paint in the UK? We get royally shafted over here, but when I browse carandclassic.co.uk I see a lot of listings for cars that have been freshly repainted, but are selling for less than what we'd pay for a complete respray. Just curious. Cheers
  13. Mobile tyre fitting? Get a business loan and the required vehicle/equipment and work for yourself. I know its more of the same, but mobile fitting is HUGE overseas and hasn't really taken off over here yet. People will happily pay extra for convenience. Also you're rural, and all Ag machinery fitting is pretty much done on the farm. Combine the tyre fitting with a lube service and you'll never be short of work...
