  1. And I've got my shed space back... Yaaaay :P
  2. Off she goes, heading south. Must admit, was sweet sorrow wheeling it out to the depot. Nicest KE I've ever driven by a long, long way. Then again, for all intents and purposes, it IS a brand new car.
  3. I'd be lying if I said I didn't find this moderately appealing... And its actually going into production
  4. In my experience, Toyota-thusiasts have always sorta been the 'nerds' of the car scene. (JZA80 owners notwithstanding... Sorry, but they're a 'look at me' car) So by nature, I think we have less time and tolerance for douchebaggery. Ain't nobody got time fo' dat.
  5. In my defence... I'm old, my cap brim is curved to fit the shape of my forehead, and I don't wear women's clothing.
  6. All my #SWAG couldn't fit in the back of my ironically uncool Volvo
  7. Wow. I need a stiff drink after reading through this.
  8. I should mention... The reason I posted that pic is because.... ITS REGISTERED
  9. Thinking Port Douglas for lunch on day one. Nice mix of tight and sweeping corners, speeds from 40 to 100 so the revs are varied and she beds in nicely. Also, corner pub does a f*cking fantastic barra fillet.
  10. Its a rockin' saturday night at Shady Stables Still sorting all the fiddly shit you encounter with a car that's been built from scratch and been sitting for years... Stuff that was installed new is now old and needs replacing, wiring loom was completely remade and some things aren't quite right, just lots of annoying little things. We have 5 more days to get it on the road and put some serious k's on it to iron out the bugs and run in the engine before embarking on a rather long trip. This car has done a grand total of 85 k's, and most of that is backwards and forwards being shuffled around inside various sheds.
  11. LH inner headlight was seated incorrectly; earthing on the frame of the light housing. Every time anyone would get in or out of the car, it would be enough to move the headlamp assembly enough to earth out and turn the high beams on with low beams. 4 hours of fun for something.. so silly. Yes it works... It still works. no it doesn't. yes it does. no it doesn't. The hell../ Rant
  12. ~ bah humbug. headlight wiring is a bitch. rawrrrrrrrrrrrrr
  13. Just sorting out some minor electrical gremlins...
  14. Wasn't so much 'need' more like 'I own a bobcat so I use any excuse to break shit with it'
