seeing as its tax time the tax man bought me a new computer for the cressida, so bring on 40psi

also anyone wanting turbo/performance jobs done in toowoomba area i finally have workshop set up at home, anything from carby setups to setups like my cressida let me know

lol it does spin the wheels but i leave the skids mainly to the cressida

budget also ended up at around $550 now with the intercooler and bleed valve

i know i can barely handle to power :P , i was going to turn boost up to around 12-14psi but the top gasket of the carby just starts to leak fuel out at 9 psi so will leave it there, i changed the gasket and still does it so must be slightly uneven surfaces. i could pull carby off and machine both surfaces for a better seal but couldnt really be farked

intercooler done and made 135rwhp on 9psi

haha as if id own a v8 there slower than rotors :) its just a mates car that i did it will probably only run 11's so wouldnt be to worried

yeh i went a little further last year as i had smaller tyres, and it wasnt as hot. also if you saw the first one i got off it in the top end was getting a bit to crossed up. second one was longer i think

yeh the hilux is the daily most of the time, only drive the cressida a couple of times a week at the moment

yeh the parts for my new convertor got ordered today so shouldnt be long now till that 9. ive got to catch up to you

spent some time on the dyno this afternoon to try and get convertor to come up quicker with antilag, tried some water/meth injection and didnt help so think i will be ordering a TCE convertor next week far more efficient than the toyota one i have so less heat quicker flaire and more mph can't go wrong. only down fall is they are around $1500

yeh tyres seem to work well, just need to sort out how to get it up on the convertor easier was taking a while to build boost. part of the problem was temperature is was very hot saturday, but still looking into things that might help lag as gearbox temperatures get bretty high sitting there trying to build boost. not sure weither to try water injection? don't really want to go down the nitrous path if it can be avoided even though kits are under $500. it has anti lag through the micro tech so might see if i can get it to work better but i think possibly ive got it as good as its going to get

not sure if any mates got video but it is pretty good now still squats but tire is flatter on the track, rear end is just custom 230 pound spring rate in super low king springs and shocks are koni adjustable set to hardest. to get something this heavy to a 1.4 60 foot with IRS is probably more impressive than the actual time
