  1. its cheap per litre but you use much more of it so works out dearer than 98 octane still. its worth it but
  2. theres about 5 caltex servos in the brisbane area that sell it, its about $1.20 a litre
  3. went and got another 400 litres of e85 fuel the other day so working on 150kms a tank should get me a whole 1200kms lol. lucky my work is only about 5kms from home
  4. so had to go get some more eflex fuel for the cressida yesterday so the wife followed me down in the zre152 and we stopped at the drags on the way back, and apparently zre152 corollas run a 17.9 at 77mph lol she only had 2 runs so it may have a little more in it but i don't think she will race it again its apparently the most boring 17 seconds of her life
  5. been tuning cressida abit more and will get close to 150kms to this tank lol. will be sending computer back soon to get 4 bar map sensor and update then more boost will come. also got cortina running for those that followed it a while back http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtA-QX-TxiQ
  6. so ive been thinking that the cressida needs a bigger turbo, but I'm poor at the moment (building new LARGE house and shed) so am tempted to sell one of the ke55's or the ke18 so if anyone has any very reasonable offers i may be tempted to let one of them go. i can be contacted on 0421087507. i don't need or really want to sell any of them but see what offers come up
  7. no don't believe in boost controllers, if you don't want to go as fast don't put your foot down as much. my only boost setting with e85 is 30psi. the main problem with e85 is that you use alot more than pump fuel which makes it even worse when you only do around town driving and have 1600cc injectors. i can get around 400kms on the highway its just town driving that drinks the fuel. will see how this week goes and how many kms i get.
  8. good news this tank i got 126kms have played with the tune a bit, if i can get 150kms to next tank will be happy
  9. wow that gets out of the hole good, what 60ft? 1.4?
  10. nah like i said havent even looked over the car yet i wasnt to worried as it was worth what i paid for it no matter what was wrong with it. it will get fixed properly one day when it gets repainted, i was even deciding to maybe sell it to fund my ke55 1jz project that i want to do but will see what happens
  11. yeh still want the bumper might see if a mate can pick it up soon, what do you mean about getting floor fixed? i havent even looked over the car since i got it. once my shed is finished want to get it on the hoist and check it over see what nasty things i can find
  12. not yet have been to busy, were you the one that had the rear bumper?
  13. a new toy to the collection ke55 with 52000kms was bought off a mate he had a readers thread of it on here. so now i have 4 corollas, and as soon as i can convince myself that i need another fast car the blue ke55 will probably get a 600+hp 1jz
  14. looks good same model as one of mine, i can't find any rust in mine but it has been painted at some stage so might fnd some when it gets stripped for paint
  15. cheers mate, its a little exciting/dangerous now for a daily driver but i still want more already
  16. so ive been driving this to work for the last few weeks with the e85 in the tank as its way to boring on pump fuel and i think that i need to lay off the boost a little as this last tank i have got 90kms from 60 litres. and thats after ive leaned out cruising speeds, so it must suck some serious fuel on boost
  17. good to see more cressidas getting around
  18. you can get a half cut for under $1500, or if you want just a motor wouldnt pay more than $500. considering on 35+psi mine is probably making close to 650rwhp on a standard engine 1jz's are definately strong
  19. that was basically how i figured it out on 30psi its dangerous on 35+psi its VERY dangerous so realised something was up
  20. any plans for some e85 love for this yet
  21. have been driving this to work for the last week, and the last couple of days noticed that my wide band was around 13:1 afrs(was tuned to around 12:1) and that my et street tyres didnt work as well as they used to. i never really get a chance to look at the boost guage on the road as its a little dangerous while on boost but took a glance as it comes onto boost and saw that it was reading nothing, the problem being that the boost guage is T pieced off the wastegate hose, so if the gauge isnt working neither is the wastegate. opened the bonnet and realised that the vacuum hose had blown off whoops. so not sure how much boost it runs with no wastegate reference but would imagine that it would spike over 40psi as it comes on and probably come back to around 36-37psi. the bonus is that it would have 18-20 degrees of timing at that boost and still no sign of detination. so maybe its time for a 4 bar map sensor
  22. ah yes there are a few good videos on there
  23. also found this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94h-dWFuuw8&feature=channel_video_title
  24. got the video thanks to another mate, there was a better skid but he didnt get it on video but this one was okay. i just sat it on 9000rpm and 30psi for the whole skid sounded very nice from in the car http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2jsXc9hUTfE&feature=player_embedded
