Certainly paint it gloss white, matt white looks cheap and horrible.

shouldn't crack if your not going to put any sort of pressure on them mix the bog correctly and grind the paint off the guard for better adhesion and it should be right. Personally i like the un smoothed look so i would just bolt them on.

I had 30 thou shaved off my 4k head to raise compression. So i put it all back together today but now there is a really loud tapping that sounds like its coming from the top end its, not valve clearance or the rocker gear because i adjusted the clearances until they almost had no gap at all but it wouldn't go away so i put another rocker gear in and still the same I'm thinking maybe because of the head sitting lower the push rods are on a different angle that makes them noisy but I'm not sure what do you think?

My 4k blew the head gasket so Its a good time to get the head shaved to give it a bit more power how much would you recommend taking off I'm thinking around 20 thou but tell me what you think. :dance:

do you want to spray in acrylic enamel or 2pak? if you want to paint acrylic or enamel you can use an acrylic primer if you want to paint 2pak you have to use the 2pak primer.

Have also paint wiper thing beaver panel and the back of a door. Ill resume painting when i have sufficient funds for more paint.

20's fail miserably. 15inch is the maximum size that should be used on any type of rwd corolla. 16's are even too big in my opinion.

spotted a green ke11 with myke11 number plates on marion rd today around 5.00pm looked clean.

green would look pimp but as 7shades said the body works gotta be perfect so go the gold it will look beautiful.

a good effective set-up to use is as you said sprinter struts they give you a 10mm brake upgrade over a standard ke70/ae71 disc plus more choice of upgradeable brakes such as magna/ fc etc. Get some kyb agx shocks for the front and get some 8kgmm front springs. For rear use 6kg rear and just get some kyb excel g short stroke gas shocks to suit a suzuki seiera. This set-up will be ideal for track work and drift. If you want a softer set-up use both the same shocks and lower the spring rate to 6kg up front and 4kg on the rear or 6kg all around these set-ups work well and handle great. You can gain cheap camber by using Rt142 corona lower control arms giving you approx 20mm extended track and approximately 2degrees negative camber, Adjustable Sway bars make a major difference tightening the rear and front end to reduce sway and body roll throughout the entire car. New polyurethane bushes throughout the car are great making the car feel less sloppy and give it sharper response these are a must for any type of set-up car because 25 year old bushes are horribly worn and destroy handling horribly. Strut braces are great reducing twist in the chassis. If you want to go real far you can use rose joints and roll cages but it just depends how much money you have you can spend thousands on set-ups it just depends how far you want to take the car and to what level.

defiantly 4.3 will make a difference from 4.1 yet again. So its worth it.

Well got some painting done today a panel and the wiper grill thing. car will be in colour tomorrow colour look pretty good too. pics up tomorrow.

use enamel paint acrylic isn't as versatile as enamel paint on heated areas and will wear off quicker.
