Extra Info: this is my grandfathers car, at my house. it was restored and registered and running on the road utill 1997. since then its been sitting around under a tarp. Engine has been started regularly to keep it fresh. car is all original except for custom interior. engine has been rebuilt when it was on the road using original parts and even the radio,lights,indicators and interior lights all still work. my grandfather has had a terrible run of luck lately 7 months ago he was fit and healthy. 6 months ago his 13 yr old dog died and the next day he had seizures which were diagnosed as a malignant brain tumor wrapped around a major artery, doctors said don't expect much but were able to get most of it out. he finished 6 weeks of radiation therapy a few weeks ago but still has trouble walking, we had my mums bday party at their house and a bbq gas bottle blew up in his face and burnt down the back wall. was in burns unit for a few days with 2nd degree burns to legs arms and face. He is no longer able to drive so he doesnt want his car sittting around going to waste. your welcome to come have a look and check it out if your interested.

found a nice one today. all thats left is conencting the 4 immobilizer wires, i know where 1 set is going, gotta pick out another thing to shut off then ill be complete.

is the purpose of the ign wire to send a charge to the alarms brain just to let it know when the car has been started?? so i should just connect it to something that sends a charge when i crank it?

all in and sweet except for the ignition wire. was poking around today but had no idea what to connect it to.

hey I'm just wondering if anyone here is an install guru and can tell me what these wires are for. does the power for the siren come straight from a 12v source? thats what I'm thinking, its the battery back up siren. and I'm not too sure what to wire the other 2 up to.

yeh that 2 inch thing is what I'm on about, theres a massive gap that sits behind it currently, but if i move the bumper in closer, the bumper hangs too far over the guards near the wheels. ill have to try and find that spacer thing. oh boy thats gonan be fun..........

i got front and rear wrap around bars, i put the front on but it isnt sitting right. do the models that came with it have a different front apron or something? or different mounts to the standard ones so it sits back further? i got mine posted and he only sent the bumper, no mounts. it sucks that it doesnt look right and i want to know why.

whered u get ur flares? and where did u stick ur fuel and temp guages where ur tacho used to be?

i just found out my left one is stuffed, the parts have come undone, its like a pin inside the big pin. i might haveto visit the wreckers.

my light doesnt come on when i open the door anymore, I'm thinking its the switches on the door have gotten old. the light is switched to door and it works fine when i set it to on. where can you buy new ones? or should i try my luck with the wreckers, or is there sumthing else i can do?

lol its definantly not sl3. but i like to name it from letters on the number plate...but i got lih....what dumb plates lol. I'm at an internet station in the shops killing time untill i can pik up my car....its getting tinted you know :bash:

put central locking in it the other day, getting it tinted on tuesday, and have an alarm going in shortly. put a sony tape deck in instead of the cd player cos it was screwed, moved it to the centre console as well. also scored some seat covers that look almost identical the orignal seats in there haha.

I'm getting it thru premier tint for 275. darkest legal metalised tint. black night. can't wait

when can we come pick them up?? i bought a lame calendar the other day dammit, only just remembered I'm getting one of these.
