hello.. do you know the valve to piston clearance in a 4k-u dished piston engine? in this type of engine the valves get inside the dished area of the piston? the bigger diameter valves will hit in the piston dished hole? or when a cam with higher lift is installed will be a problem?...thanks a lot and sorry for the number of questions....

i had the same problem with my ke30 throttle cable 2 years ago...and i found that the cause of this was the rubber cap in the cable on the side of the carby...yes this made the cable to stack....i removed this and until today are all ok...check it....

that means that TRD springs need modification on the head....i believe that the SR20det is an easy solution...thanks Taz....

hello again... i want to put in my 4k head dual valve springs....i have found some sets out of different brands of cars....but in every case the inner spring hits on the valve stem seal..do you have any solution? did you use some different stem seals? thanks a lot.....

Hello! i ant to ask you if it's possible to skim a 4k-c head 2-3mm and to fit it on a 4k-u block. Has anyone done this? i have a 4k-c head with bibber balves,head porting and cut valve guides and i want to fit it on my u block! thank you very much!

of course the relay will be slave... my Ke30 does not have a relay box as ke70...and it has a mechanical fan also...! but my engine is a 4k out of a ke70 and i need a relay which will work with the ke70 temperature detect switch but 30 amps to work with a bigger fan!!!

hello i have an electric fan relay out of a ke70 which is 15A.. but i want a 30 A relay...form which toyota car i can find a 30 A relay?

thanks guys a lot!! i will put a relay on my electric fan to close with the key and iwill regap my sparkplugs....but one more question... with which gap i have bettter burn? with 1.1 or 0.8? iam afraid of reducening my engine's power...this is only my opinion!!! thanks again...

i have increased the compression on my 4k-u. i have electronic ignition, 1.75 exhaust and the weber DGV 32-32 with manifold with Removed casting between the throats!

i already use a weber DGV on my 4k and a friend of mine cells me a pair of Aisan twin carbs... the price is about 200 dollars..but the question remains... is it worth buying the twincarbs or spend that money on doing other things on my corolla(msd coil,brakes etc)!!! thanks again!!!

Hello i have a weber DGV on my 4k-U engine and i want to ask you if it's worth putting the twin AISAN carbs from sprinter! It will go better from Weber or i will not see any gain in performance... thanks a lot!!!!

Hello i have a Ke-30 with stock alternator! i recently put an electric fan out of a ford fiesta XR2! but after a few days my buttery died! is it possible the alternator to be to small and can't charge the buttery when lights and fan are on? do you have any solution? thank you!!

i changed my secondary main-air jets from (115-125) to (130-160) and yes the car pulls a lot better now!!! now i have to check the combination 130 main jet- 125 air jet...

Ella we have tha same problem...but i think if you use spark plugs from the normal 4k i wll lose some little compression because of the smaller projection....

thanks again Felix... i have put a bigger exhaust recently and i was thinking of putting bigger jet on my webber's DGV 32 second butterfly... now i have 115main and 125 air corrector and i was thinking of 130 main-160air...what is your opinion about this change... do you suggest something else? thanks again!!!
