Sorry Guys & Gals, I have been dealing with family hassles for a few days now but will be calling the Organiser today to verify entry details
If needed, I will distribute the Entry Forms personally because I really want this to be a big day for all of us.......
I have been looking forward to this since last year & am going to make it happen....
Yeah mate.....Only 2 weeks to go
I'm keen as for this run, it's been quite a while since I've been out there & I can't wait
I might even do a service prior to this trip.....maybe LOL
I will be displaying my KE26 for sure (all buffed & complete)
A few other members are also keen to show-off their pride & joy so I'm hoping we can sort out a group display on the day
Last year we meet at Hungry Jacks/Caltex @ Carseldine (start of Bruce Highway) & it worked well
So lets meet at HJ's/Caltex @ Carseldine, around 7am, where we can organise who will be parking where etc........
First of all....Welcome to RC
Not a bad looking 20 there mate
Should bring it on the Cruise/Camping trip on 10th October (assuming you're in QLD) Click the link in signature for details
Let me know if you need any KE20 parts....I have quite a few spares for them
Cheers
Dougy
The moths in my wallet told me to drive a Corolla years ago & I have made an informed choice to drive nothing else
The appealing points, about the cars themselves, are what kept me buying rolla's (shape, chrome, 'K' engine strength & reliability)
Yeah mate
I wasn't leaving any of the good stuff behind (it had all NEW suspension & bushes....but they're gone now.LOL)
It's all going into my KE26 :jamie:
Good to hear about Tabitha JiP.......You should bring Mr Ed (2 generations of PV's :jamie: )
Mine will be there all buffed up and ready to go....can't wait
Holy crap....Good to hear that you're OK
Good luck with finding a new shell....at least there are a lot of hard to get parts that can be saved from this
It seems like the tailights, bootlid, bonnet & even the doors may be usable......
Go to Bunnings & grab yourself some steel strapping (1mm thick should do) you should find it near the "Pryda" brackets and Builders bog/Spakfilla........
If you line the bracket up with the screws at the front of your Gearshift boot you won't need extra holes in the car, then bend the steel at the appropriate points and use "Tek" screws (through pre-drilled holes in the console) to fix the console to the bracket...
This beast now looks a bit different
It had some GREAT parts in it.........now I have them mwhahahah
Parts now missing are as follows:
Bonnet
F Bumper
Apron
Front Struts/Hubs/Rotors
Manual Pedalbox
Manual Console

Complete 4K/4spd with New parts
ReTrimmed Seats

Has anyone noticed that this happened just 3 days after posting the Youtube video................
I am asking myself was Evan filming his own "Drag Racing" again when this "unfortunate incident" happened ?
Just a thought............
OK people it's time for the reality that I only need one KE10 so I'm keeping the manual one I acquired recently......
