Yeah we decided not to take the old girl in the shitty weather.... But I'll be there tomorrow, helping with the judging on the American nationals. Should be a great day, more rain, more hail, more wind, and snow down to 700 hundred meters! :bash:
  9. New black carpet arrived during the week, and new rubbers are on the way! Progress has been slow, weather has been bad for doing 'car stuff'
  10. 12. Last saturday, there was an ad in the canberra times stating, '$50 all you can carry, bring your own tools, 6 penney place QBN....' I went to check it out during the week, looks like a junk yard. Had some cars, but most of the yard was covered up, and i counld't see in. Mite be worthwhile checking the paper this saturday, to see if the ad is in again.... Also don't forget QBN swap meet this weekend. Get in early to find those rolla bits! I'll be there at the ford show in a great big yellow Fairlane!
  13. spotted a ke50 liftback today in Dickson. Young girl driving, had some white panels, had some yellow panels....was a bit sad...
  14. Pffftt, why do that, i don't need anything off a 70! :jamie:

  18. Ive got a set of axles! Not sure if they're for a jap diff or a borgy tho... PM me!
  19. Get yourself a manual, the gregory's 'corolla 1200' book has ke20/25/30 in it.
  20. Yeah the swap meet is on both days, but saturday is the day. I;ll be trawling thru all day looking for ke10 parts, but I'll also be sticking around for the ford show, so may not be in the rolla!
  21. Great to have another rollaclub person coming to canberra! We don't have yearly inspections anymore, got rid of them years ago. What they do now, is send teams of RTA blokes out and do roadside inspections. Randomly pull people over and check over their car... I'm not too sure on the regs reguarding engine convos. Best bet would be to look up on line at ACT rego Or give canberra conect a call on 13 22 81. I know some guys have in the past put 5Ks 7Ks etc into corollas, and just notified them of an engine number change, and had no dramas, not too sure on 2T tho...
  22. New carpet ordered, cleaned up under dash. Cleaned 40 years of crap out of the heater box! Yuck! Took the smashed dash top off and covered it with sub box carpet. looks 100 times better! Getting closer to putting stuff back, every day!
  23. Well guys the 2 cruises in 2 weeks went really well! I'll start looking into another in the not too distant future! Next weekend -26/27 sep- is the queanbeyan swap meet! Also on saturday is an al FORD day, and the on the sunday is the American Car Nationals! Its a great weekend, and if you look hard enough, you can find corolla stuff! I paid 5 bucks for a gasket set last year, and yes, it came in handy!
