I think the problem is that they called it 'Top Gear'...it is always going to suffer in comparison. Mind you the second series is better then the first! -

Also flush the system. I changed water pump in my ke30, burbed it, still ran hot. Flushed it, much better now!

Yep different, also ke70 have the shifter further back as well...

There should be a outlet just under where the fuel line goes in, comes out at about a 45 degeree angle. Thats the advance port. The water temp thing is a thermo switch that opens and shuts with the water temp. adjusts the spark advance to suit. early rollas don't have it later ones do.

Box should bolt straight up, its the extension housing that will be different. If only it was ke10 or 30 stuff...ah well i might have to get a 20, so i can buy stuff from ya! :)

PICTURES!!!! Saw what had to be one of the cleanest ke30 geting round. It was up at the belco markets, white, white inside, early style dash. very nice... do yourself a favour and check out what is one of the sweetest looking corollas. Resprayed metallic blue, big wheels, very tidy, usually parked in Wollongong street

If all else falls, try Aunger center caps. Dad got some Cheviot hotwires for his falcon, aunger center caps fitted, and looked the part!.

I'm pretty sure the mount is the same ffrom manual to auto. Should be the same up to ke30. My auto ke30 (toyoglide)needed a new mount a while back. I got one off a manual box, it was the same, and fitted no probs. Just checked, part number for the manual box (should be the same) is MT8009. From Kelpro.

Turn out wasn't huge. I think the weather kept a few away. We only stayed for the show and shine, but yeah there was a cruise, dyno session, and driving events. Also there was a historic car show the following day, which was looking interesting too!
