is anyone good at making up stuff, or know a good custom fabrication shop that wont charge a fortune? I need to get a custom linkage made up to suit my carbs/manifold.

haha good effort. I had a rod shoot through the block on my old 4k. Was on the inside lane of the freeway when it happened to.

i just thought id let u all know i just put the carbs back on my pig and gave I'm a try and it started! After over a year of problems things are starting to look up. Just a few little things left to do like alternator wiring and bleeding the clutch, and it needs a dam good tune. But other than that. Its all good!

hey all, if any of you watched the news on sunday/monday you would have seen the story about the two teens hit and killed by a drunk driver on marangaroo drv. It was bec and her bf. They were walking back to her 17th birthday party after walking to a shop. She was a good friend to some of my mates. Her family are struggling to come up with the money for the funeral so her big brother is holding a cruise. Its on sat 3rd oct, 7.30 at city west carpark. Leave at about 8-8.30 cost is $5 per car. z20 soarer with a 2J!! my mates got one safe tuned at 400hp, its a monster!

still no pics but, i swapped to the ae71 tailshaft the other day, and started putting the interior back together. it almost looks like a car again. also i decided to put the carbs on and give starting it one more try and, with a shit load of aerostart, it came to life for a few seconds... shes a f@$king beast!!!

back from holiday, back into the pain of this thing. ive done some panel work since being back, smoothed over the badge holes in the boot lid, and also the holes where the mirror screwed into on the drivers door. i found gasket kits for the carbs so they will be rebuilt soon! also picked up a mikuni carb sticker... gota reprizent! still am struggling with fitting the carbs in with the brake booster tho. pics of body work soon
