hey everyone. just thought i'd finally share that i have another ke36 now. a while ago i bought seabiscuits ke36 of him, just haven't bothered to upload anything onto here about it yet as the wagz is still in canberra. and i now live back in wodonga 4 hours away from canberra. so the car is currently staying at my cousins place in canberra and he is doing all the rust repairs for me and spraying the car. which is good as i can't bring the car down here untill i get my license back, which isnt for about another year and a half ;) anyways, just to make sure that i don't lose interest in it i thought i better post up on here about it, here's a link to seabiscuits thread from the car http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=24477 since purchasing it all i have done is get it to my cousins place and fit a thermo fan and battery as it didnt have a fan at all and the battery was stuffed. i've got some plans for it, but they wont be able to happen for a long time. and if i say them on here everyone will call me a dreamer so would rather wait till i actually have the engine and box sitting here ready to go in before letting in on the plans of the engine swap :2thumbs: and i never had a chance to take any pictures of it yet, but the next time i'm in canberra i will be taking quite a few pics of it no doubt. cheers Matt.

Hey mate. I was also looking at doing the same thing but with a ke36. I called up a few engineers till I finally got one that actually helped. And atm there are no restrictions on engine conversions in vic. So long as everything else up to the task of handling it. And I got a link on my laptop to the laws that they are trying to bring in. Which he told me will be ages if ever if they come in. But with the new laws an sr20det will still be legal anyways. When I get on my laptop I'll post the link up.

hey mate very nice, and wow thats alot of steering lock. also how does your cooler piping stay on? there's no clamps on the hoses, at least not in that pic. what size turbo you end up using? i'm planning out a sr20det from an s15 into my new toy :lolcry:

lol, look at the vids of my ke20 a stock 3k, on the dry road blew the tyre open. the 1st vid is the end of a 5 min skid, and the 2nd one blew the tyre in 1 min 46. it was kinda bald from the previous skids already lol. does your ke70 beat excels? as in the newer bubbly kinda shaped ones?

hey just got a quick question, but 1st the car isn't a rolla. i'm changing my vl from manual to auto, and i don't wanna stuff around with swapping over the auto control ecu. i was just wondering is there a way i could wire up the park neutral switch so that the car wont start unless its in park or nuetral? cause i will be leaving the manual ecu in the car. and i'm pretty sure on this part, with the manual ecu it will just mean that i will have to select all gears manually yes? hopefully someone on here can help me out as no one on ct will answer me =[. hey all, just wondering if the ke3x series rolla's ony came with the one wheel and tyre size of of 155-13? or did they come with larger diameter tyres also?

yeah i wanna get aircon into me wagz so that it stops me from looking to buy other cars when the wagz is so good lol

my current pedders are captive, but there not anywhere near low enough :bash: car sat at least another 1-1.5" lower before with the cuts in it lol. would i only need a shortened shock to suit if my spring was not going to be captive? or do the rolla's need a bit more then that?

hey i was just wondering what front springs everyone uses in there ke3x's? my 36 had custom cuts in thr front, and just put some pedders in but the lowest pedders said they had was 1.5" lower and now my car is sitting at least and inch higher then it was before if not more. was just wondering what everyone else uses and what's the lowest ones you can actually buy for them?
