  1. i've had 4 falcon's, still have the 1st one. wrote off the 2nd one. i like them :dance: i've also had 2 vl's lol, one was my 1st car and i still own that. and 4 corolla's :y: own the 4th one still now. just wish i had a license to drive it :y:

  4. its still up there in canberra cousin hasnt had time to do the rust yet. i'm coming up for summernats and will do whatever i can on it then. also i'm talking with a mate of mine about getting an exhaust manifold made up and inlet plenum made up for the 5k i have. with a 5k the aim would be more at around the 160rwkw on about 20psi. and trust me that wont be expensive compared to what i'm chasing in the vl lol. just for the turbo, manifold, wastegate, oil and water lines i'm up for $4,200. thats 6boost manifold, turbosmart gate, braided oil and water lines, garrett gt3582r.

  8. i also have remembered i have a spare 3k and 5k sitting in my uncles backyard in canberra and a spare k40 lol. oh and another 2 stock ke3x 13's. maybe get them widened... logic keeps telling me to just stick with the 5k i have at my uncles place. then the love of boost and power makes me want to crack at least 200rwkw :wink: have 2 different colour choices in mind also. 1st is the really light metallic blue on the bf xr's can't think of the name atm. the other is gloss white, for a sleeper apeal. the factory colour of the car is white also.

  10. everyone throw up some engine idea's for me as i need to decide on what to do. the engine conversion itself wont be getting started for about a year and a half. but i want to have it all worked out sometime soon. to start saving and slowly getting bits and pieces. pretty much so far i have thought of: ls2 6 litre speed 3rz 2.7 turbo 3sgte sr20det 4agte 5kte 13bt and yes i do realise how much it'll end up costing me hence the reason as to why i am waiting so long before actually starting it.

  12. yeah i just want to know if anyone know's what they are standard. currently my wagon ha a 4k in it. and i have a 3k and a 5k sitting in my uncle's backyard. but yeah, no license for two years so jut looking into options of what to do. more then likely rebuild and turbo the 5k with efi. seems the most logical.

    yeah the torque would easy make up for it :S i'm just thought i'd say it in here for other's that may like to know is all, and figured they'll be looking in your thread anyways to find out as much info as they can on it. anyways, how do you find it boost's with the gt3582r? still running 10psi? and when you have full boost by?

    for those of you interested in doing a 3rz engine swap also. after lots of searching i finally found the weight of it. thought it would be best to put it in here. anyways turns out its about 179kg's for the engine with head and inlet manifold. http://www.customtacos.com/forum/showthread.php?t=77422
  17. hey i was just wondering if some one could photoshop this pic of my old rolla to have 13" stockies with dress trims and centre cap's or hubbies etc, with whitewalls also. also one in the colour as is and one in white would be very much appreciated :y: Matt.

  20. hey i was just wondering if anybody know's the weight distribution front to rear for a ke36 4 door wagon? just wondering as i am looking into possible engine conversions. so just want to see if i can work out the distribution to try and not make it to much weight over the front compared to the rear. cheers Matt.

  22. i was only going by what i have been told. and that one of my mates cut the king springs in the back of his vl wagon and over time they started to sag. i was told that if i was to cut springs to make sure you cut through quick and to only do it once so they don't heat up to much. i stand corrected. i was not trying to spread myth's just trying to help out in what i was once told was true. thankyou for correcting me. now i've learnt something new :2thumbs: Matt
  23. i would of ordered and paid but untill knowing that you had the full amount of cars selected and with photo's of them all. can't really see how people should be expected to order and pay for something untill its 100% going to happen. as what happened with this one you had to refund their money. maybe with an 2011 one get started on it earlier so that there is more time? cheers Matt.
  24. ae86 suspension fits straight in does it not? and i'm sure there is heaps of aftermarket suspension for them. even at decent prices also
  25. main problem with cutting springs especially if you don't get the hieght right the first time is the fact that your heating the spring up and everytime it gets heated up it effects the spring. they also tend to start sagging after a while especially if they have been heated up quite a bit from cutting
