Hey mate, hope i'm not to late responding to this. I have the same conversion done to my cressida. I rang up vicroads a while back and was told (they looked into this) that if all the mounts etc are factory and all the emission gear is still there and everything else has been upgraded to spec (brakes, diff etc) then you don't need it engineered. Just need a letter from a toyota dealer stating that the JXZ81 is a factory car in japan, go into vicroads and they'll check everything over and change the engine number over. This reminds me to do that also as i keep forgetting to do it. :hmm:

Or just listen for an engine with no exhaust! I'll be out there tomorrow sitting at a mates sites. In between the toilets and food van. The cressida will be parked there too

Been a while since i updated this! Got my lip for the cressida yesterday and a few other parts off a wreck. Lip is going on to my soon to be modified series 2 bar which will allow a HEAP more air into the cooler. Also picked up a set and a half of cressida stockies for drags etc. Corolla is still sitting waiting for an exhaust manifold so myself and a mate can start the conversion on that. Kinda hard with no cash. It's annoying cos i want to drive it allready!

Hey guys, bita bad news. I'm way short on cash at the moment so I'm not going to be able to make it this year. Was hoping to have a new job and such but not having any luck. Being single on a trainee wage and living by yourself is a drain on funds. Hope you all have a great run and i'll catch up with you guys this year at some stage. Any chance you will be coming back through ballarat?
