Issue 210 of Hot 4s with the feature on my car is out now. It has a candy red WRX on the cover. I must say I am stoked with the feature. A nine year dream has come true for me! Not many things can compare to seeing your own car presented over six pages of a magazine.

Good idea mate. The show at Windsor Leagues club on the 31st July is usually a great day. Mainly hot rods and pre 80's cars. I will be attending this show. Red's Big Day Out on the 18th September at Penrith Paceway is also a great family car show. They are both on Pinky's website if you need more info.

I will definitely be there this year. I've been waiting along time to have my car in this show and am very excited that this year I can. Only 3 months to go!

The photoshoot is in the next issue of Hot 4s magazine issue 209. It will be out next week. I have it already as I subscribe. It has a grey Mazda MX5 on the cover and a hot blonde.... Good article, five or so pages with pics of all the cars. It says they are going to feature a few cars in the coming months, so with my car due in next months issue and then all the cars from this shoot it looks like we are going to have plenty to look forward to in Hot 4s magazine.

Picked the car up from mechanics today.We put new bushes in the rear, O-ring in the dizzy and greased up the front end. The accelerator is still sticking, thought we fixed it so will have to have another look at it. One of the brake fittings was a bit loose under the dash, but all fixed now. We put a bit more bias to the rear brakes and it stops on a dime now. Unfortunately when I got home I noticed coolant leaking from the water pump. I've entered the Street Machine nationals at Sydney Dragway next weekend so will attend to the water pump after that. On a positive note the car was photographed for Hot 4's magazine and should be in the August or September issue.

Well beleive it or not after 9 years my car is finally finished! All engineered 100% street legal and registered. I've put 250kms on it in the 4 weeks its been done. We have a few little issues such as a leaking brake line in the car somewhere and a sticking throttle. The dizzy is also leaking oil so I think it needs an O-ring. But I'm very happy with how its going so far.

Hey cool pics Mick! It was nice to meet you guys as well. I was over the moon with all the compliments the car received. It made the 9 long years worth it. Got a small brake issue on the way home hopefully fix this week. It was good to see so many old school cars there this year. The white 25 is my mates wife's car. He owns the orange 25 with 2tg that was at Toyotafest last year. They are corolla mad, supplied me with many parts!

Hopefully I will be debuting my car there. Off to the RTA first thing in the morning to get it registered. It will be its first real drive so hopefully all goes well. Orange KE20 with 4age.

Thanks guys! Yeah the brake system was quite expensive but as you say time and money! I think it was worth it though. A shop called Specialised Brake and Clutch in Penrith supplied all the brake line fittings mate. Went to the trimmers today to see how he is progressing. I helped draw up the door panel designs and he trimmed them today. He has started on the floor, and the windows are in.

Yeah guys the brake lines run out of the master cylinder then into the firewall, through the inside of the firewall and pop out at bottom of the inner guards. Not sure about defects, but engineer i spoke to a few years ago said it will be okay.

Under the dash at the sides near the top of the kick panels mate. Was at the trimmers last night. He has done the roof lining, parcel shelf and the dash top.

That is one sweet ride there mate. Wish I painted mine that colour now! What wheels you plan on running?
