  1. comparing going from a 3k to a 3t in a ke25 instead of 3k to 4k is like comparing chalk and cheese. 3T will require, new engine mounts, gbox mounts, hydraulic clutch conversion etc etc. a 4k will bolt straight in, a very cheap and effective upgrade as long as the engine is in good condition. punchy throw a 4k in there, get ur weber jetted to suit and have some cheap fun. cheers, scott

  3. worth it, if you just wana throw away the slow 3k. ill be throwin a 4k with 3k big port head in my ke26. not for more power, just because its a VERY cheap and smart upgrade. 5k's can be very pricey these days. cheers, scott

    tonight spotted a mickey mouse yellow ke30 with 16" rims, cannon muffler. turning off south rd goin up flagstaff hill about 9pm. wasnt I'm my wagon unfortunatly. cheers, scott

    i have also spotted this said bamboo ke20 with obese sticker at IKEA, was a fair while ago now tho. mazda hubbys, some rust, trashed interior. spotted a blue ke10 this afternoon going down cement hill towards seacliff. venetian, hubbys, looked the part. cheers, scott

    spotted a browny/orange ke20 on sunday arvo in the city. on corner of north terrace and east terrace across the road from the hospital. looked pretty fresh and completly untouched!!!! cheers, scott
  12. good work !!! would you agree that 178 in a rolla compared to 190 in a commo feels almost twice as quick? i remember comparing my RB30T rolla to a VLT commo and there was no comparison with power to weight!!!!! now get in it and enjoy the sucker, make sure you apologise for the kickin and punchin or it will be a bitch to ya. cheers, scott

    spotted a red Ke70 in the car park of UPI lonsdale this morning. 'P' plates, looked to be 15" silvia rims on the front, stockys rear. also inside UPI spotted a white KE20, absolutly FUBAR'ed. has diff with n centre, front struts with no brakes. only thing salvagable is radiator on back seat and maybe the cut springs. cheers, scott

  23. removing steering coloum is easy. unbolt steering box from chassis rail, remove bolts from floor (where coulum goes through) unbolt coloum from dash, and pull it out. yes steering box comes out with it. cheers, scott
  24. hell yes!!! nice work, coming along nicely. i have no real in put into the wheels situation, because I'm a 'stockys with hubcaps and whitewalls' kinda fellow. altho, some 16" stockys off a BA falcon, with 205/40/16 tyres on em with whitewalls and trim rings would be pretty sweet :yes: cheers, scott
