smeetsy, the yellow ke20 you saw at marion is a very clean example. the fella lives in christies beach, around the corner from my work. it has a 79 on the window because it used to have a for sale sticker and fone number on the window, for some reason he left the 7 and 9 on it when he bought it. it has never had superlights, always ran stockys with hubbys and walls. i spotted a ke20 today on South Rd heading north at about 1pm. was orange, old lady driving, looked to be very clean indeed. cheers, scott
  4. i like it. cheers, scott
  5. you should be fine Jono, keep up regular logbook services and you shouldnt have any dramas. just make sure your mechanic knows what to look out for. eg: bushes, ball joints etc. enjoy it. they can get fun when you start adding bits. like Ryan said 300+ is within easy reach. PS wait till its out of warrenty :y: cheers, scott
  6. nice pick up. ok while its still under factory warrenty, take it to your local ford dealer ASAP. have the rear centre and side diff bushes replaced. also your rear upper outer arm bushes replaced, along with the rear lower front outer arm bushes replaced. safe to do the front lower ball joints aswel. make sure it has been log booked seviced, every 15K exhaust n inlet manifolds MUST be retensioned!! but then again I'm just anal, coz i have to work on them EVERYDAY 8/ other than that, they are a pretty decent car. but be sure to get it serviced regularly once its out of warrenty, they can be costly, unless you can do it all yourself. cheers, scott

  9. long story short. have u bolted up?, test fitted? or even bought the running gear yet? or you still messing around with the shitty things like autobarn shiney bits that don't make it got any faster? cheers, scott
  10. sweet ride, your from down south way yea? I'm suprised i havnt seen more of this beast. go easy on the lowering, if you are down south I'm sure you know what the coppers are like down that way. cheer, scott

pretty schmicko looking ke30. cheers, scott
  16. IMO those flares look horrible without huge dish under them. how wide will your new wheels be? at least 8" i hope or at least MEGA offset to fill those massive gaurds. keep the picks coming. cheers, scott
  17. you get a rear interior light? bastard! the differnces would be subtle. i know with the ke20 sedans they had L (base) and SE (deluxe) does your wagon have gutter or sill chrome? original AM or maybe even FM tuner? how many speakers? cigy lighter? cheers, scott

spotted without doubt the mintest white ke20 in adelaide. SUS100 are the plates some may have heard of it. a few of my mates have owned it over the years, but it is in the hands of an elderly collector these days who still uses to get to the shops. cheers, scott
  21. actual amazing car!! ;) cheers, scott
  22. ooohhhhh yeah!!! you got the skills, make sure you keep at it, dig deep find the inspiration and motivation you need to power on and finish this wagon off ;) youve come this far, it would be a shame not to finish it. don't be put back by the interior trim colour, you can always vinyl dye the lot to get it all one colour. maybe wait until the car is painted to deside what interior colour to go with. this work of art is a credit to your ability, keep it up ;) cheers, scott
  23. also check for vaccum leaks. my 3k was doing this many years ago when i first bought my wagon. i realised it became worse after i desided to steam clean the engine bay ? turns out my carby and inlet manifold wererealy only being held on my crud, they were so loose it was running stupidly rich and on shut down was still sucking enough air to make it bang. moral of the story, check that your carby and inlet manifold are tight. then check mixtures and timing. cheers, scott

that exhaust is an easy fix. if you havnt got the skills to attack it yourself any exhaust place would be happy to cut a section out and raise it an inch or two for more ground clearance. cheers, scott
