bored this arvo ..and broke so i modified my muffler to twin pipe an old piece of exhaust and a holesaw + a welder and this is what you get... now alittle more noise and a nice crackle on lift...:)

powdercoat looks good... no excuses now not to do the 20v conversion. needs coilovers in it now

te27 style fender mirrors arrived today...................

185/60/13 nankangs @ $80 fitted

fold up the inner squared off section and change down to a 185/60... will fit without lifting or too many other mods and will end up about 15mm lower in the profile... aim for about 10mm of "tuck" gotta be low down and gangsta .. thats the way they roll the best

thats travel left before the strutsbotttom outand the diff hits the body.. height is so low i have to jack the front tow hook to get a 100mm jack under the front prob about 50mm at the crossmember what stereo? na diff it really bad hey.. neutral at 60 its screamin' its ass off

agreed will look the goods those on and polished specs??????

biggest issue will be steering box and pitman arm clearances on a 70 the biggest issue is exhaust and weight balance, it will fit without firewall mods but its an extra 40 kg over the frontend bellhousings are available from A1 auto's in NZ to suit a w5* or r154 gearbox will not be able to register either ......................

still has 2.5 inches of suspension travel..:y: I think the diff is f#cked ... may just convert to a 30 -55 diff complete :y: has been on the road for 1 day and not yet defected :wink:

REGISTERED>>>>>>>>>>>> woo hoo so. because the previous owner did the 4k 5 speed conversion out of his ke35 coupe .the exhaust was incorrect for a 20. it was under the gearbox crossmember and hung down abot 2.5 inches off the floor... when the cars only 70ish mm off the deck it becomes a problem, so i decided to go to the exhaust shop and get it fixed. so they wanted me to buy extractors and get a whole new system fitted ..cost $600 . 3 shop all the same answer. Went around to Jips and grabbed some old exhaust and did it myself fully tucked up now , the front twin pipe off the exhaust manifold has been cut and shut in 2 places and now goes above the crossmember and the reat of the exhaust now runs along the edge of the tranny tunnel. still using rear section of the 55 exhaust but will get a new 2.25 under diff exhaust soon off my "custom" engine Pipe. now i can access driveways etc which is a bonus...:y: may take it up to munchies tonight

no... need the exhaust done before it cruises...

pulled out the grille and surrounding trims today and gave them a freshen up in a high mettalic silver front drivers guard replaced with a rust free spare then lipped and given a slight flare.... cage is out and off to the powdercoaters for a freshen up and colour change front brakes stripped and rebuilt and new pads will be registered tomorrow if my flatmate ante's up the cash he owes me..... as soon as it's regoed will be going in for a new exhaust system as the on it has will not tuck up enough for ground clearance..:wink: the DunlopMesh are now for sale as i have other plans regarding rimmmmzzzz for this. ordered the new tyres today for this bad boy... 185/45/15's....... :y: will be here in 2 weeks from Japan :y: a couple o' pics....

its now rollin on a set of 13 inch superfins with 185/60/13's benny needs to upload some current pics ..

195/50/15 on a 4 x100 15 x 7 +40 offset rims 195/45/16 on 16 x 7 + 40-45 offset any wheel shop will have rims to suit it..... 4 x 100 is the same as most late model frontwheel drive cars ie nissan pulsar

4 point CAMS approved Bond's Alloy half cage now installed.....................

ke 70 struts are longer than 20 struts by about 2 inches they will bolt in using 20 strut tops ke70 lca's will bolt into a 20 but the 20 castor rods bolt spacing is out by about 2 mm ke20 castor rods are about 2 inches shorter than ke 70 ones i have bolted a whole ke70 front assembly into my 20 ,then removed it to change front pattern all you need is ke 70 front hubs.. unbolt the discs off ke20 and bolt them onto ke 70 hubs ,use ke 20 backing plates and calipers... not a brake upgrade as ke 70 backing plates have a different stud pattern where they bolt to the strut

we are pretty broad minded bunch here...most cars welcome with a primary focus on 60's, 70's and 80's corollas although we also have a fair contingent of 90's and 00's as well as well as other toyota models and other makes as well narrow is AE86DC..................................

the tri spokes are for sale.... what middle section 3 piece rim....... they are a centre an outer and an inner i can get outers and inners you use your centre and inner or outer.. to suit specific rims.. and only 15 in diameter as for cheap.. what do you consider cheap? i try to only buy JDM rims ...works, Rays ,Volks ,SSR's , Advans , Dunlops, Hayashi's etc will be doing another pair fairly soon , may do a tech article if people are interested................
